The studio's interior is predominantly white, with a simple, bright design that ensures comfortable lighting and smooth flow. It features a dedicated makeup and hair area, a changing room, and multiple photography sets. Equipped with various lighting setups, backdrops, and props, the studio can quickly adapt to different styles, catering to all your photography needs, whether for ID photos, professional headshots, or personal portraits.

This venue's main service is Taichung Korean-style ID photos, with two levels of makeup and hair styling packages. The basic package includes makeup and hair styling, suitable for short to medium-length hair, focusing on adding volume. The advanced package is designed for those with medium to long hair, offering more立体 curls and enhanced makeup details, covering undereye bags, nose contouring, jawline definition, false eyelashes, and skin texture adjustments.

The venue's interior features a wooden design style, with vintage cameras and photographs displayed on the walls, reflecting its long history. The venue is divided into two floors: the first floor serves as the reception area, while the second floor houses a professional photography studio and a makeup and styling area. The styling area is equipped with beauty and hair tools, providing customers a space to prepare their appearance before their shoot.

Asia Photo Studio offers a variety of photography services, including Korean-style ID photos, personal portraits, and family photos. W.studio has two branches that offer ID photo services: the Junfu branch and the Wenxin branch.

The Wenxin branch, where we had our experience, is located on the fourth floor of the Global Superstar Building, near the Wenxin Zhongqing MRT station in Beitun, just a 5-minute walk from the station. The studio is tucked away in a small room within a business center; after taking the elevator to the fourth floor, you'll need to call the venue to open the door. The overall space is compact, decorated in a trendy café style, but it does not provide hair and makeup services, so you'll need to prepare yourself.

This Taichung photo studio offers a variety of photography services, from ID photos to wedding photography. For Taichung Korean-style ID photos, only one customer is served per time slot, and the photographer operates remotely, so you don't have to worry about feeling awkward during the shoot.

These Korean-style ID photos are available as standard or express service. If you choose standard, minor on-site touch-ups will be done, and you'll be shown examples of post-production levels. You'll be contacted for pickup in about two days. Digital files for both standard and express services are sent via email.

This small studio hosts only one group at a time, and the photographer monitors the session remotely, eliminating any awkwardness or pressure from others waiting nearby. Holo+FACE, located in Chungyo Department Store, is Taiwan's first photo studio to introduce refined Taichung Korean-style ID photos, expanding from Taipei to Taichung and Kaohsiung.

The studio is divided into a check-in counter, fitting rooms, a hair and makeup area, a photography studio, a retouching area, and a waiting area, where small cookies and water are provided.

Holo+FACE offers various types of portrait photography, from simple headshots and Taichung Korean-style ID photos to professional headshots, couple photography, and even pet photography. You'll need to book a time slot on their official website. After checking in at the counter on the day of your appointment, you'll be escorted to the hair and makeup area to get ready. The venue provides a full rack of clothing options, or you can bring your own outfit.

Introduction

To myself is located at the intersection of Gongyi and Jingcheng Roads in Taichung's West District. The venue has two signs: "To myself" and "Tianxi Fashion Aesthetics." These two operate as a single Taichung photography team, with To myself handling the photography and Tianxi Fashion Aesthetics managing hair and makeup design.

The studio offers a diverse range of photography services, including Taichung Korean-style ID photos, graduation photos, professional headshots, family portraits, and maternity shoots. You can view their photography and makeup portfolios on Facebook; interested clients can consult with the venue in person.

Appointments can be made via Facebook or Instagram. Each time slot is dedicated to a single client for both hair/makeup and photography, allowing ample time to communicate your needs with the photographer.

For these Taichung Korean-style ID photos, prints are ready for pickup the morning after your shoot. For urgent requests, inform them in advance, and your photos can be ready within 60 minutes. Digital files are sent to your email immediately. If you're celebrating a birthday this month, the venue also provides an extra set of physical prints when you get your headshot taken!

Winnie visited To myself for a Taichung Korean-style ID photo session, which included hair and makeup by a Russian stylist.

Initially, Winnie worried the makeup might be too heavy or not suit her features, but the stylist was incredibly attentive throughout the process, asking about her preferences and making subtle adjustments to complement her face. The eye makeup technique was particularly professional; Winnie had often experienced discomfort when having her eyes made up in the past, but this time, she felt no irritation whatsoever.

What truly sets this Taichung Korean-style ID photo studio apart is its exclusive one-on-one service. There are no other customers during your session, which made Winnie feel completely at ease.

The photographer not only reminded Winnie to tuck her hair behind her ears and ensure her eyebrows were visible—important for ID photos—but also expertly captured natural expressions. It only took about 4-5 shots to get a beautiful photo that met all the specifications. Customers are also involved in the post-production editing, resulting in a natural and satisfying final image.

### 春山相館 About the Venue

Introduction

Chunshan Photo Studio has two Taichung venues, one in Yizhong and the other in Kinmen. The Kinmen venue, where this experience took place, is the newest, located on Gongyi Road, just a three-minute walk from Park Lane by CMP.

This photo studio offers a range of services, including basic photography, Taichung Korean-style ID photos with hair and makeup, portrait and resume photos, and full/half-body professional headshots. Online reservations via their official website are required in advance. Upon arrival, a receptionist will greet you. After completing an online form, you'll head to the second floor to select your outfit and begin hair and makeup.

The dressing room features a vibrant grass-green theme, with a wide selection of clothing, from light and dark suits to various shirts. The makeup artist explained that men's makeup primarily focuses on concealer, eyebrow shaping, and contouring. The entire hair and makeup process takes about 40 minutes, resulting in a natural look. The foundation shade is custom-blended by the makeup artist to match your skin tone.

Shooting these Taichung Korean-style ID photos takes approximately 10 minutes. The photographer first takes test shots with three expressions—no smile, a slight smile, and a full smile. You then choose your favorite expression on a real-time screen before the official shoot begins.

After the shoot, you can immediately select your photos. If you finish shooting by 4:30 PM (7:00 PM at the Yizhong venue), you can pick up your photos in just 30 minutes. If you finish later, you'll receive an online proof via Line the next day. Once confirmed, you can pick up your finished ID photos at the venue anytime.

Yen and her boyfriend visited Chunshan Photo Studio's Qinmei branch for Taichung Korean-style ID photos, which included hair and makeup. The venue's decor is stylish, and there's even a photo op area on the first floor, perfect for snapping a few extra shots while your hair and makeup are still fresh.

Her boyfriend, who was getting makeup done for the first time, was a little nervous at first. But the makeup artist was incredibly friendly and chatty, making the whole process relaxed and enjoyable, and the makeup itself looked very natural.

Unlike other Taichung Korean-style ID photo venues, the photographer takes three test shots: no smile, a slight smile, and a bigger smile. You get to choose your preferred style before the official shoot. Throughout the session, the photographer was energetic, constantly complimenting them and guiding their poses, making the shoot very efficient.

Even during the shoot, the photos looked great. However, when they received the retouched photos via Line the next morning, the skin texture felt a bit over-smoothed. After they provided feedback, the venue promptly made a slight adjustment, resulting in a more natural look that her boyfriend was very happy with.

Chunshan Photo Studio also offers thoughtful services, including the option to pick up prints at other branches and a variety of cute ID photo sleeves, adding a nice touch to the experience. The overall process was smooth, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful ID photos they'll be proud to show!
