Avocado's experience with "Otherworld Express" at LOST Taiwan was her first time tackling a parent-child themed Taipei Escape Room with friends and her nephew. While most escape games focus on logic and speed, sessions designed for families truly test how well adults can guide children through the unknown and ignite their enthusiasm.

Stepping into the LOST Taiwan venue, the children initially hesitated at the unfamiliar darkness, needing parents to comfort them. But as the vibrant, magical world of "Otherworld Express" came into view, that sense of unease quickly vanished. The entire escape room was filled with bright colors and fantastical elements, and a faint scent of adventure seemed to hang in the air, immediately drawing the children's eyes to the patterns on the walls and the various props.

During the staff's briefing, Avocado noticed the children were already eagerly exploring the space, their small hands touching various props that looked like clues. LOST Taiwan's meticulous attention to detail cleverly transformed the formal instructions into an inspiring guide, allowing the children to immerse themselves in the magical world from the very beginning. This subtly reduced their resistance to the game rules and boosted their willingness to explore independently.

The core charm of "Otherworld Express" lies in its clever blend of adult guidance and child-led exploration. Adults are responsible for interpreting the text cards on the walls, translating complex words into child-friendly hints, and guiding them to think about how to solve each puzzle. At the same time, the game features many unique mechanisms designed to be discovered only from a child's perspective, subtly giving them the honor of being key to solving the puzzles.

During the collaborative puzzle-solving process, Avocado witnessed the children transform from initial observers into team navigators. They not only assisted the adults but actively discovered clues, solved puzzles, and even led the group forward. When they successfully escaped the room, her nephew excitedly exclaimed to Avocado, "We have to come back again next time!" This pure joy, combined with seeing the children's leadership and sense of accomplishment during the game, made this parent-child escape room a memorable shared growth experience.

In a complete shift of tone, "The Hangover Mission" offers a distinctly different experience of intrigue. Top Pork Chop Game Studio begins building the atmosphere right from the waiting area: dim light spills over antique European decor, and the air seems to carry the scent of old books, instantly transporting Tessa and her friends from reality into a mysterious ancient castle.

With the game master's perfectly timed guidance, the game's prelude slowly unfolds. Stepping into "Waiting for Someone • Tomb Robbery," the tactile sensation underfoot and the visual impact instantly transport you to another dimension. The realistic live interactions and time-sensitive puzzles create an incredibly immersive story experience, though some scenes are genuinely claustrophobic, so players with claustrophobia might need a boost of courage from their teammates.

"Case Has a Bit Big" takes this surprise to the extreme, creating cinematic-level intricate scenes that made Tessa constantly look up and marvel at the details hidden even in the ceiling while solving puzzles.

"Levid Bar," at the new location, perfectly blends adventure, magic, and live stage play in a spacious, independent setting. LoGin's expertise in multi-space transitions cleverly eliminates the feeling of a long 3-hour experience.
