The owner studied under Grandmaster Saenchai in Thailand and immediately integrated Saenchai's unique "small vs. big" and "soft overcomes hard" philosophies into the curriculum. The training progressively warms up students with stretching, light jogging, and shuttle runs. Then, students are guided step-by-step through basic footwork before moving on to striking techniques, learning how to use fists, elbows, knees, and feet for offense and defense. The owner demonstrated timing, technique, and how to use body momentum to execute moves. Finally, students paired up to spar with pads, receiving detailed guidance during their exchanges. This group class had about 10 students, most of whom seemed to have some experience, with Will being the only beginner. However, the coach's patient guidance allowed Will to keep up with the class, and the hands-on instruction helped Will grasp the techniques more easily. The paired students were also friendly and assisted with guidance, pointing out ways to improve movements. Grandmaster Saenchai is known for neutralizing opponents' attacks and winning with unexpected moves.
