#Fun and Photogenic Strawberry Picking in Taichung

REVIEWED BY [凌晨](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/%E5%87%8C%E6%99%A8/)

Buneng Meiyou Ni, which opened in 2020, is a clean and tidy farm with both ground-level and elevated Strawberry Picking in Taichung areas. This time, our mystery shopper experienced the elevated strawberry patch, which offers the great advantage of allowing adults and children alike to pick strawberries comfortably while standing. Our shopper noted that this height means no bending over, making it very friendly for seniors and families with young children. Staff members are on hand to provide friendly guidance and picking tools, ensuring even first-timers can quickly get the hang of it after a simple lesson.

Wandering through layers of white trellises, searching for those tempting crimson gems hidden beneath green leaves, feels like an exciting treasure hunt. The strawberries here are perfectly sized, with a high proportion of ripe fruit. With a gentle snip, a plump berry falls into your palm, and the entire process takes about one to two hours to fill your basket.

Beyond the joy of picking your own, the venue also offers freshly picked, pre-packaged strawberries and limited-edition strawberry mochi, providing a sweet conclusion to your farm visit. Our mystery shopper also thoughtfully advises that to pick the largest, reddest strawberries, it's best to arrive early in the morning to avoid crowds and fully enjoy the blissful feeling of being surrounded by plump red jewels.

#Spacious grounds for photos, big red strawberries

REVIEWED BY [妙麗](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/%E5%A6%99%E9%BA%97/)

It's hard to imagine a lush, red Strawberry Picking in Taichung hidden beneath a city overpass, but Fudeiye Strawberry Farm is just that: a unique, spacious, and healing rural escape right in the heart of the city. This venue cleverly offers both elevated and ground-level strawberry patches. The elevated section allows adults to pick fruit comfortably while standing, with plump berries everywhere you look. The ground-level area, meanwhile, becomes an adventure playground for children, their small figures weaving through the leaves in search of the biggest, reddest treasures.

Despite being next to a busy road, the farm is surprisingly quiet. The sounds of traffic seem to fade away, replaced by the laughter of families and friends. The air is filled with the faint, sweet scent of strawberries and the freshness of the earth. Sunlight filters through, making every green leaf and red berry look vibrant, creating a lively and beautiful scene perfect for photos.

What's truly thoughtful is that even after rain, the farm provides shoe covers and rain boots, so visitors don't have to worry about mud and can fully enjoy the picking experience. There's no entrance fee and no time limit, allowing you to slow down and immerse yourself in the moment your fingers touch the strawberries—the gentle feel, the crisp sound as you snip them off—it's all incredibly therapeutic.

Fudeiye Strawberry Farm offers not just fresh strawberries, but a happy experience where you can temporarily forget your worries and leave with a bounty of berries, all without having to venture far from the city's hustle and bustle.

#Meet the Strawberry Godfather and His Cultivated Varieties

REVIEWED BY [Kay](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/kay/)

Strawberry World, located on a main road in Tanzi, is a treasure for anyone who wants to taste multiple strawberry varieties at once. The venue cultivates more than three types of strawberries, including the owner's self-developed "Black Diamond" and "Youxue" varieties, each offering unique aromas and layers of sweetness.

Kay visited on a weekday afternoon, when the ground-level Strawberry Picking in Taichung area was open. Stepping into the rows, the air was filled with a sweet, fresh fruit scent. While adults need to bend down to search, the height is perfect for children, allowing them to easily explore among the green leaves and pick the tempting red berries themselves. Before picking, the venue staff carefully explain the process and guide visitors to the areas open for the day, ensuring everyone has a pleasant experience.

After picking, don't forget to extend your culinary adventure at this Taichung strawberry venue's product area. In the spacious rest area, you can savor fragrant strawberry sausages, uniquely textured strawberry meatball soup, and a refreshing, sweet strawberry soft-serve ice cream—a truly delightful experience. Kay also discovered limited-edition "blessing strawberries" for just NT$100 that day; though their shelf life is shorter, their aroma and sweetness are just as good as freshly picked ones, making them an excellent value.

From the joy of hands-on picking to the surprise of tasting various creative strawberry snacks, Strawberry World offers a complete sensory feast, and Kay highly recommends it to visitors eager to experience diverse strawberry varieties.

This venue specializes in a unique double-decker elevated growing system and pesticide-free cultivation. Directly across from Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital, it offers limited parking, but street parking is available nearby, making it easily accessible.

#Pesticide-free honey strawberry farm with inspection reports

REVIEWED BY [Kay](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/kay/)

Among the many options for Strawberry Picking in Taichung, Red Forest Elevated Strawberry Farm feels like a tranquil, private escape. The farm is small, with elevated planting beds that make picking easy and comfortable, no bending required. Kay visited on a weekday morning and enjoyed the serene experience as if she had the whole place to herself, with the air filled with the sweet and sour scent of strawberries and only the sounds of the breeze and her own footsteps.

The owner candidly shared that because the farm is small and doesn't rotate open sections, arriving early is the only trick to picking large, beautiful strawberries. This venue focuses on non-toxic cultivation and openly provides inspection reports, allowing visitors to enjoy their freshly picked fruit with peace of mind. Although the washing area is tiny and there are no designated seating areas, the focus is entirely on the vibrant red berries picked by hand.

The strawberries picked on this visit, regardless of size, were all fragrant and firm. The sweet-and-sour taste melted on the tongue, a testament to their freshness. Although Kay didn't encounter the "bargain price" white strawberries rumored online, this brief and delightful picking experience was thoroughly satisfying.

In summary, this Taichung strawberry farm is ideal for those looking to avoid crowds and enjoy a moment of quiet fruit picking. It's recommended to call ahead to inquire about the day's fruit conditions and any rumored hidden strawberry varieties to ensure a bountiful harvest.

#Taichung's Top Rainy-Day Pick: A Clean, Comfortable Strawberry Farm

REVIEWED BY [Kay](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/kay/)

If you're looking to enjoy Strawberry Picking in Taichung but are worried about bad weather or getting muddy, Youda Zhenxiang Organic Strawberry Farm, which Kay visited, might be the perfect rainy-day option for families.

It's just a few steps from the parking lot into the greenhouse, and the ground is covered with well-draining gravel, so your shoes stay dry even on a rainy day. Stepping into the spacious, bright greenhouse, sunlight streams through the roof, and the air carries only a faint strawberry aroma, free from any damp, earthy smell. The farm owner's friendly guidance makes it easy for first-timers to quickly get the hang of it, from grabbing a basket and scissors to learning picking techniques—the process is simple and clear.

The biggest highlight here is the neatly arranged elevated strawberries, allowing you to pick them gracefully while standing, saying goodbye to backaches from bending over. Kay also noted that the farm uses drip irrigation, ensuring the ground stays clean and non-slippery, and sticky traps hung along the aisles effectively keep mosquitoes and other insects away, significantly enhancing both safety and comfort during the picking experience.

The entire picking route is well-planned, with convenient access from the entrance to the rest area, making the experience more efficient. If they were to add a double-layered elevated system suitable for children's height in the future, this would undoubtedly become an even more perfect family destination. Overall, Youda Zhenxiang redefines the traditional image of fruit picking, offering an excellent choice that is clean, comfortable, and not limited by the weather.

This variety, a hybrid of Toyonoka and Sweet Charlie strawberries, is prized for its firm texture and balanced taste.

The farm offers a pick-your-own experience with both elevated and ground-level planting beds to accommodate all visitors. The venue provides picking baskets and special scissors based on the number of people, and the cost is calculated by the final weight, with complimentary boxing services included.

#Houli: Pick and Taste Unique Floral-Scented Strawberries

REVIEWED BY [凌晨](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/tag/%E5%87%8C%E6%99%A8/)

The first thing many people notice at Tianxiang Strawberry Farm is the faint, sweet scent of strawberries in the air. As soon as you step into the venue, the friendly staff hands you a basket and special scissors, and even first-time visitors can quickly get the hang of it after a simple lesson, ready to enjoy the rural fun.

The farm is divided into two main sections to manage crowds. Although there's only one entrance and exit, the flow can get a bit congested on busy weekends, but it doesn't detract from the joy of picking. The strawberries here are small and exquisite, glistening invitingly in the sun. However, only about 40% of the fruit is fully ripe and bright red, so you'll need a bit of patience to hunt for treasures among the green leaves. Each time you part the leaves, it's like anticipating a delightful surprise.

We recommend arriving before noon, when the strawberries are at their best in both quantity and quality. With the crisp snip of the scissors, each hand-picked strawberry drops into your basket, bringing a sense of accomplishment. The entire picking process takes about 1 to 2 hours. After checking out at the counter, you'll also see the venue's beautifully arranged strawberry gift boxes, and if you're lucky, you might even spot the elusive white strawberries.

The best part is the washing area right next door, where you can immediately taste the fruits of your labor. That freshly picked, sun-warmed sweet and sour flavor is the most direct and wonderful reward of this Strawberry Picking in Taichung trip.
