The Yonghe branch, which we experienced, is just a one-minute walk from Yongan Market MRT Station, and paid parking is available at the nearby Carrefour. The studios average over 100 ping (approx. 3,500 sq ft) and are equipped with non-toxic PE soft mats. All equipment is covered with non-toxic PE foam anti-collision strips or foam padding, allowing children to run and jump freely.

Classes are led by a team of national-level gymnastics coaches, following a progressive curriculum with a six-level grading system. Even children with no prior experience can feel at ease, as each class is taught and assisted by professional coaches certified by the Chinese Taipei Gymnastics Association.

The curriculum covers five main areas: trampoline, vault, horizontal bar, and floor exercises that combine tumbling, running, and jumping. These activities collectively train children's muscular endurance, balance, reaction time, and overall coordination.

LIN and her two children experienced a beginner Taipei Kids' Gymnastics class at the FlyKids Yonghe venue. Three classes were running simultaneously in the same space, yet it didn't feel crowded; we later learned that up to four classes can be held at once!

Each activity in the class has a different training objective. The coach first demonstrates, then teaches each movement individually and makes adjustments, all while observing each child's personality.

Shyer students are guided with encouragement, while more energetic ones are given extra practice. This tailored approach puts parents at ease.

LIN was pleasantly surprised that the coach could identify which muscle groups the children were engaging during each activity. After class, the coach provided parents with an analysis and suggestions, helping the children find suitable ways to improve. We recommend this venue to parents who want their children to try sports or improve their overall physical fitness.

Astrid's daughter has always been very interested in physical activities, so Astrid decided to try Little Squirrel Gymnastics, which many people recommended. Astrid was happy they offered a trial class, allowing her daughter to see if she liked it first.

The trial class was about an hour long, and most of the students were preschoolers. The curriculum was solid and well-paced. Even though it was her first time, Astrid's kindergarten-aged daughter quickly understood the teacher's instructions and followed along with each gymnastics movement.

Throughout the process, the teacher was patient and skillfully guided the young children. Especially when Astrid's daughter encountered a movement she couldn't do, the teacher didn't immediately help her complete it. Instead, she gave hints and encouraged her to finish it on her own.

At the beginning and end of class, the teacher incorporated etiquette lessons: greeting and thanking. What was particularly heartwarming was that at the end, not only did the children thank the teacher, but they also turned to thank their parents.

After the class, her daughter was so eager that she immediately asked if she could sign up. This shows how captivating the teacher and the class were, and it comes highly recommended for parents looking for Taipei Kids' Gymnastics.

For toddlers with separation anxiety, the monitoring TV in the first-floor parent waiting area allows parents to watch their children without worrying about them clinging on, letting parents relax on the sofa and enjoy their own time while waiting.

The spacious venue, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, offers outdoor views, creating a safe indoor space that feels like a playground. The warm-up for these gymnastics classes is ample, and the high instructor-to-student ratio ensures that even basic running and circling exercises are carefully guided to ensure children perform movements correctly.

Little Athlete Children's Gymnastics felt to Mama Tanuki like returning to an after-school program from her own childhood. The two coaches, both national-level athlete trainers, were incredibly kind and patient.

Warm-up time was thorough and sufficient, including not just basic running and jumping to get the children's bodies warm, but also careful attention to joint warm-ups. When the gymnastics class began, the coaches designed different difficulty levels for the same movement based on each child's ability. The curriculum clearly followed a formal gymnastics training program, rather than just being a place for kids to exercise.

Although the student-to-teacher ratio was a bit low, the class didn't proceed like an obstacle course. Instead, each movement was practiced on a different piece of equipment, so the coaches had the children line up and provided individual guidance on each movement. ### 飛寶兒童體操 About the Venue

Introduction

Feibao Children's Gymnastics has branches across Taipei and New Taipei City; this review visits the Songshan branch, located next to the former Living Mall site and Zhonglun High School, about a 5-minute walk from Nanjing Sanmin MRT Station.

Stepping inside, you're greeted by a bright, spacious L-shaped classroom, designed to accommodate two different levels of children's gymnastics classes simultaneously without interference. Classes are suitable for children aged 1 year and 10 months and older.

Feibao Children's Gymnastics was founded in mid-2016 by a former Taiwanese national gymnast with extensive experience. Compared to other Taipei Kids' Gymnastics venues, it's relatively new, so the teaching environment—including PE non-toxic mats, parallel bars, and trampolines—as well as the parent lounge area, are all very modern and comfortable. It's truly a children's fitness facility custom-built for kids.

Feibao Children's Gymnastics' bright and spacious teaching environment is William's dad's absolute favorite. The coaches can also use the space to create longer, more complex obstacle courses.

Even if the children's physical development varies, the highly flexible space means there's no worry about bottlenecks during the obstacle course, allowing energetic kids to play to their hearts' content.

Through the coaches' careful guidance and explanations, many young children who haven't yet joined preschool or kindergarten get their first taste of group life. Even the little ones who ignore parents' instructions at home and tend to rush around seem to transform, obediently following the coaches' commands, as group concepts are integrated into the teaching.

Additionally, for children who are significantly ahead or behind in their progress, the coaches can design special exercises to help them catch up or advance.

Introduction

[Letong Gymnastics League](https://www.twosevenths.com/en/kid/fitness-taipei-happyunionkids/) is conveniently located less than a minute's walk from Exit 1 of Xinyi Anhe Station. I initially expected a venue in such a prime Taipei location to be small, given the high property values.

However, upon visiting with my child, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Letong Gymnastics League offers a remarkably spacious and comfortable environment for Taipei Kids' Gymnastics. It can even accommodate three different age groups simultaneously. Classes are suitable for children aged 2 and up.

The Level 2 toddler gymnastics class we experienced had about 10 children, divided into two small groups, each with two coaches providing attentive instruction.

Each group focused on different activities, training for approximately 20 minutes before switching with the other group to continue the class.

Letong Gymnastics League is a Taipei Kids' Gymnastics venue established in 2021, but its coaching staff is anything but new, comprising certified instructors with years of teaching experience.

During the toddler gymnastics class, for both the horizontal bar and floor exercises, the coaches gradually introduced variations, incrementally increasing the difficulty to encourage the children's courage to challenge themselves.

What impressed William's Dad most was the small-group class format. With a student-to-coach ratio of 4-5 children per two coaches, the interaction was excellent, and the coaches could carefully observe each child's mood and physical condition, adjusting the practice content as needed.

Children who successfully enroll in the toddler gymnastics course also receive an exclusive sports shirt. Compared to other venues, William's Dad found the yellow T-shirt provided by this venue to be exceptionally cute and stylish!
