Stepping into the 60-ping Chinese classical family room at Zangyu Boutique Motel feels like entering your own private estate. The serene wood tones, spacious living room, two large beds, and even a mahjong table add a playful touch to the grand space.

For Nick, the most stunning feature was the bathroom, which rivaled a private hot spring. The water doesn't come from a typical faucet; instead, it cascades from a high-mounted spout near the ceiling, like a small waterfall, echoing through the room as it fills the cool marble Jacuzzi. Although the high-falling water inevitably leaves traces of age on the walls, it only highlights the magnificent grandeur of the tub.

This is more than just a three-hour stopover for couples; it's an independent kingdom, cut off from the outside world. Stepping into Huashuiting Motel feels like being instantly transported to a tropical island. For her short break, Miaoli chose a luxury suite, a 3-hour package for about NT$1800. Pushing open the door, the first thing that strikes you is the incredibly spacious room, filled with an indescribable vacation vibe.

The room's main lighting is a mysterious red, which creates a romantic atmosphere, though it does make visibility a bit dim at night. It takes a moment to adjust to the subtly intoxicating mood. From check-in to check-out, the service is smooth and private, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your own world without interruption.

The suite is fully equipped, with the highlight being the spacious jacuzzi, where water gently laps at your skin, and the steam room's warmth quickly melts away fatigue. The outdoor plunge pool is an added bonus; the water is crystal clear, and sunlight shimmers on the surface. Whether you're relaxing in the water or taking some beautiful photos, you'll feel pure exhilaration.

While there's also a KTV area in the room, it's relatively compact, with just a two-seater sofa, wired microphones, and a songbook. The lack of a guide vocal service left my friend and me a bit flustered, and some of the equipment definitely required some trial and error to operate. We even had to consult the manual to figure out the "pleasure chair"!

This experience at Huashuiting Motel truly highlighted its positioning as a "mini-resort." Every corner is filled with thoughtful details, allowing your mind to briefly escape daily life. Hermione stayed in the Japanese Zen-style room, and upon opening the door, she was immediately impressed. The overall space felt wide and comfortable, with a wooden decor exuding a subtle Japanese ambiance, as if isolating her from the city's hustle and bustle outside. The room was cleverly divided into three main areas: living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The large window in the bedroom let in bright natural light, and the sunlight gently fell on the soft bed, creating a visually relaxing experience.

The bathroom was even more captivating, with an oversized Jacuzzi that made her want to jump in immediately and enjoy the invigorating rush of hot water. The adjacent steam room was filled with warm mist, and there was a unique water curtain bed, along with soft bathrobes, truly offering a touch of vacation luxury.

However, just as Hermione was immersed in enjoyment and looking forward to other in-room entertainment facilities, she encountered some disappointing issues. The most anticipated swimming pool had murky water with visible floating debris, making her hesitant to even consider getting in. Her beautiful imagination was instantly shattered, and she could only reluctantly take a few "I was here" photos by the poolside.

The in-room 3C equipment was also somewhat confusing. The TV system was not very intuitive to operate, and it took some effort to find the desired channels. The KTV system used a traditional songbook, lacked a guide vocal function, and the sound quality was mediocre, which definitely detracted from the overall entertainment experience. Even the advertised adult videos had limited content, and finding channels felt like searching for a needle in a haystack, so she eventually gave up.

Overall, the Japanese Zen-style room at this Kaohsiung Motels venue performed well in terms of spaciousness and comfort, and the bathroom facilities, in particular, provided an excellent relaxing experience. However, if you have high expectations for entertainment equipment and the quality of the swimming pool water, you might need to consider this more carefully. Stepping inside, the two-story high ceiling immediately caught my eye, with a cozy living room downstairs and a quiet bedroom upstairs, like a small Loft apartment that instantly made me feel at ease and relaxed.

The most captivating feature was undoubtedly the private outdoor space. The azure swimming pool and a paddling pool of just the right depth shimmered invitingly under the sun, with water so clear it was reassuring. My companions' joyful laughter filled the air, and the cool splash of water on our skin completely washed away the summer heat. The lively and adorable Taiwan black bear murals on the walls added a touch of childlike wonder and warmth to the entire environment.
