Since it's located in the mountains, we recommend calling ahead to check on conditions if there's heavy rain or an earthquake before your trip. I brought three young children this time, and the spacious tent was perfect for them to burn off energy. We really enjoyed the private feel of the site; because each tent is built into the mountain, every one feels like you have the whole place to yourself. We didn't have to worry about the kids' noise bothering anyone, and they could play freely outside the tent in complete safety. Shanlimian De Lanca also offers a wide variety of sports and entertainment facilities, including a forest playground just for kids, complete with slides, swings, climbing frames, and a sandpit.
