Before getting in the water, after changing into a rash guard and life vest, and signing personal information and insurance forms, the instructor gave a detailed and lively explanation of SUP safety and paddling techniques. Wanlitong boasts a stunning gradient coastline and crystal-clear reef waters, so Shiyang booked a transparent board and aerial photography to capture the most beautiful memories of this Kenting SUP trip. While paddling, the instructor constantly reminded participants to stay safe and quickly corrected any incorrect postures. Falling into the water was no problem; with just a few commands and actions, we were easily back on the board. Once we paddled to the middle of the sea, the instructor hooked our boards to a buoy to prevent drifting. Then, the drone and the instructor's phone began snapping hundreds of photos. The instructor even connected with the aerial photographer's phone, guiding us through various poses with precise commands. The SUP lesson takes place under the eaves of the building before heading to the beach, which is a thoughtful touch to avoid the heat. The instructor's teaching is very detailed and clear, and the paddles are marked, making it easy for beginners to pick up. Before getting into the water, they clearly explain how to sit to avoid falling, and if you're concerned, you can ask the instructor for a life vest. The instructor stays with you the entire time, and if you seem adventurous or love the water, they'll even help you fall in, adding a lot of fun! JIA's main goal this time was to take beautiful photos, and the instructor was excellent at guiding poses, even teaching JIA how to pose to look more flattering. Before getting in the water, the coach introduces the SUP board and paddle, as well as the correct stance, position, and center of gravity for standing on the board. They also teach how to fall safely and how to get back on the board, with very detailed and rigorous instruction. Our group of four had a great time. The coach actively took individual photos in addition to group shots, and gently encouraged everyone to stand up. Even though I, with no prior experience, fell in less than three seconds, it was still incredibly fun! The two-hour experience was more than enough time. After an hour, my friends were tired and went back to shore to rest, leaving me with a one-on-one session with the coach.
