Introduction

GoGo WaterWorld is located in Yuanli, Miaoli, and its expansive grounds—a thousand pings of lawn plus a 300-ping swimming pool—are a direct result of its location. The venue offers over 10 parking spaces, so even on busy weekends, you won't have to worry about finding a spot.

At the entrance to this pet paradise, you'll find a small pet maze. Upon entering, you'll pass through the indoor pet dining area, followed by the outdoor dining section, which is adjacent to the lawn and swimming pool.

GoGo WaterWorld boasts Taiwan's largest pet swimming pool, perfect for your furry friends to splash around. The pool features a thoughtful gradual slope design at the edges, and you'll notice water filtration and sterilization equipment constantly running to maintain water quality.

The venue also provides inflatable rafts for pets and owners to enjoy. There are 11 self-service pet wash stations, complete with a washroom for owners that includes coin-operated hair dryers. Plus, there's an adorable 3D painted wall nearby, perfect for taking memorable photos.

GoGo WaterWorld is so expansive, it'll drive your furry friends wild. There's even a small maze between the parking lot and the entrance to the pet paradise, where your dog can run a few laps before happily heading inside.

Once you're through the gates, you'll find a thousand-ping lawn and Central Taiwan's largest pet swimming pool. The pool's gentle slope design makes it safer and helps pets adapt, while the independent filtration system ensures peace of mind for owners and joy for their companions.

Muse's favorite feature is this swimming pool. Even large dogs can swim and play without feeling crowded, and each self-service pet bathing station is separate, so you don't have to worry about disturbing others. The only minor drawback is the patch of grass between the bathing area and the pool; pets tend to track dirt and grass inside when they come out of the water to wash, making the area a bit messy.

Overall, Muse highly recommends this venue for large dogs! The biggest challenge is the enormous grassy area—you'll need some stamina to keep up with your pet. Also, some parts of the pool and grass areas lack shade, so remember to bring sun protection and stay hydrated.

Introduction

Lazy Dog is a pet-friendly restaurant located in a small alley off the 74 Expressway in Taichung's Tanzi District. After turning into the alley, you'll find a parking lot with space for about 10 cars, right next to the venue's main entrance.

This Taichung Pet Paradise has a two-layer security gate to prevent pets from running off. Inside, there's a large grassy area with several wooden platforms for an obstacle course, and a box of shared toys nearby.

Directly opposite the main entrance is an outdoor seating and dining area for owners, built from white container houses. The indoor area is air-conditioned, perfect for large pets sensitive to heat. To the left of the main entrance are three pet bathing stations.

The owner's admission ticket can be fully redeemed for meals at the pet restaurant (excluding pet meals). The menu includes pasta, rice dishes, fried snacks, and pet-specific meals, suitable for both snacks and full meals.

Lazy Dog offers a clean, grassy area for pets to play, complete with waste bags and dedicated bins. However, only the pet restaurant section provides shelter, so it's not ideal for pets to run around in strong sun (remember to hydrate them!) or on rainy days, as there's no indoor play area, which is a bit of a drawback.

Muse found the pet realistic oil painting classes to be a unique highlight. Lazy Dog also thoughtfully provides a full box of toys for pets, giving them more to enjoy than just running on the grass.

Tucked away in a quiet alley, the venue has a slow, relaxed atmosphere, and most of the pets there are small. Two friendly resident dogs—a Shiba Inu and a mixed breed—also help oversee the space.

While there's no pool, the venue does have pet blow-drying facilities. Overall, its amenities make it more suited for small dogs.

Who says pet-friendly venues can't serve amazing food? At Yemu Private Kitchen in Taichung, you'll find Taiwanese stir-fries with incredible wok hei that will make your mouth water.

Stepping into the venue, a lively buzz of conversation and the excited barks of furry friends create a joyful atmosphere. Once leashed, pets can explore the spacious area or settle comfortably on a chair, their eyes curiously fixed on the delicious dishes, just like a cherished family member. The place is always bustling, filled with the aroma of food and a sense of anticipation, so booking ahead is highly recommended.

The menu at this Taichung pet-friendly venue is a paradise for stir-fry lovers. When the piping hot Golden Sand Squid arrived, the rich, unique aroma of salted egg yolk wafted over, coating the tender, springy squid. The savory flavor was so good that our mystery shopper, Shiyang, couldn't help but devour two bowls of rice with it. The Scallion Beef Stir-fry was also perfectly cooked, with tender meat and an enticing fragrance. The dog entry fee is only NT$50, which can be fully redeemed for pet meals, a thoughtful touch.

Bobi Xingqiu is a Taichung Pet Paradise built on the site of the former Dongshan Paradise, a familiar landmark to Taichung locals, spanning an impressive 20,000 pings.

The venue features a water park with pools and slides, a pet play area, a children's playground, hot spring fish, a carousel, a bald cypress forest, a tree cave maze, a cat shrine, an outdoor barbecue area, and a suspension bridge. It also boasts a pet castle offering accommodation and grooming services, with separate areas for cats and dogs to ensure harmony.

The entire venue is pet-friendly; leashed pets are welcome in every corner. There's also a pet restaurant with a wide array of food options like pizza and seafood boils. A unique dessert, the "Crazy Dog Ice," is a reduced-sugar ice cream that both humans and their furry companions can enjoy.

With its extensive facilities, this Taichung Pet Paradise goes beyond the typical pet park, making it ideal for family outings and romantic dates alike.

Bobi Xingqiu is an excellent Taichung Pet Paradise where both pets and children can have a blast. Yu-Rong found that a full day is just right for letting everyone burn off energy, and many of the attractions and facilities are perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.

Yu-Rong's favorite part of the park was the WaterWorld, where both pets and kids enjoyed splashing around. The pet grooming room was clean and tidy, with well-equipped shower areas and dryers, allowing owners to quickly clean and dry their pets before moving on.

Another thoughtful feature at Bobi Xingqiu is the separate off-leash areas for large and small dogs. Convenient poop bags are available on trees throughout the park. However, since the venue is somewhat in a mountainous area, there were quite a few small mosquitoes, so it's advisable to apply insect repellent beforehand.

While the full admission ticket for this Taichung Pet Paradise is on the higher side compared to other dog parks in Taichung, pet tickets are quite affordable. Children under 100cm and seniors over 75 years old also get free admission, making it an ideal destination for the whole family, including your furry friends.
