What Liv found most impressive about Jijumiao Japanese Cat Inn was its consistent thoughtfulness. Every step, from reminding owners to bring familiar blankets and toys before check-in, to insisting that owners stay with their cat for at least 20 minutes upon arrival to help them acclimate to the scents and environment, is cat-centric.

Stepping into this Taipei Cat Hotels, you're greeted by fresh air, free of any litter box or food odors, with soft music playing in the background. The entire space is quiet and serene, like a Japanese beauty spa. Alice brought her furry friend to Aimaochengyin, where the venue's friendly staff welcomed them and led her cat to a special "greeting room" designed for familiarization. Thoughtfully, they had already placed cat pheromones there to help first-time visitors gradually relax in the unfamiliar environment.

The staff member handling the check-in was meticulous in asking about every aspect of the cat's care, covering not only its personality and preferences but also its habits, feeding routine, preferred activities, vaccination status, and any medical care needs. This thoroughness put Alice completely at ease.

The day before check-in, the venue even sent a thoughtful reminder to bring the cat's favorite treats and food, along with toys and clothing carrying the owner's scent to help the cat feel secure.

Her cat stayed in a Serene View Room, which featured a vertical, tiered cat tree and a viewing window for watching the outside world. The cat immediately settled onto a high perch, looking very comfortable.

The decor is new and modern, with wood as the main element. Air purifiers are used in the common areas, and the entire venue is completely odor-free.

Three room types are available for cats with different personalities: Private, Serene, and Sunlit. Shy cats, for example, can choose the Serene room for less disturbance. Each room type also comes in different sizes, and the entire venue can accommodate 15 to 20 cats.

Upon arrival, the venue staff were incredibly welcoming. Before check-in, The Cat Inn's cat sitters conduct a detailed consultation about your pet's needs, covering their usual habits, feeding specifics, and any other important considerations. Jao provided thorough explanations for all questions, which was very reassuring.

Our pet stayed in a room with high ceilings and a window offering direct views of the street outside. Inside, there was a cat tree and an aerial walkway, making for a very comfortable stay.

In addition to 24-hour CCTV access to check on your pet at any time, you receive a daily message from the concierge each morning. They also frequently send numerous photos of your happy pet enjoying their stay, a truly thoughtful service.

Overall, with its comfortable environment, friendly service, and variety of room types, this Taipei Cat Hotels venue is highly recommended for cats of all temperaments.

Maosen Inn is located next to Jianguo Market, about a two-minute walk from Daan Park MRT Station.

The venue has two floors: the first floor is a pet store selling pet supplies, and the second floor is the Taipei Cat Hotels space. There are about 10 rooms, all with a clean, bright, wood-toned decor. In addition to being spacious, the entire cat hotel is completely free of any cat odor.

These cat hotels offer three room types: Classic, Deluxe, and Forest. All room types feature vertical space for cats to jump up and down, along with tiered cat trees.

Each room can accommodate 3-5 cats. Two of the Forest rooms have large windows with direct views of Daan Park, but they are very popular and require advance booking. Reservations can be made via the official website or LINE.

Charlene's furry friend stayed at Maosen Inn for two weeks, in a classic room — the most basic option, but still very spacious for one cat. It came with food and water bowls, a litter box, and other essentials.

Each room is equipped with a Xiaomi camera for owners to check in anytime. The staff also provides daily updates, including how much the cat ate, litter box activity, and interactions with the cat sitter or other cats. This ensures owners are fully informed, even about what the camera might miss.

Cats get daily playtime, with only one cat out at a time. However, unneutered male cats are not allowed out for playtime.

Meals are typically three times a day. Special dietary needs or multiple feedings incur an additional charge. Charlene was very satisfied with this Taipei Cat Hotels experience; her cat looked very happy in the photos. She hopes to try a luxurious Daan Forest Park-view room next time!

### 城市貓旅 About the Venue

Introduction

City Cat Inn is located in the Taipei Main Station area, just a five-minute walk from the Y17 underground exit. The venue is on the second floor, so keep an eye out for the sign, as it's not immediately obvious.

Inside, the left and right walls house the cat boarding spaces, facing a large window. They also offer pet grooming services, but the grooming area is separated from the cat boarding area by a glass door, ensuring no mutual disturbance.

City Cat Inn offers three room types, all crafted from natural wood. Each room varies in capacity and size, and all are equipped with 360-degree rotating cameras that capture both video and audio, allowing you to speak to your cat. There are also room options available for sensitive cats.

Daily playtime is provided, with cats gently encouraged out of their rooms rather than being forced. Reservations can be made via their official LINE account. If needed, this Taipei Cat Hotels also offers a pick-up and drop-off service, with prices calculated by the driver's meter.

The staff at City Cat Inn are incredibly friendly, gentle, and full of love, and every time I checked the camera, I saw them interacting lovingly with my cat.

Once, during a check-in, I noticed my cat had vomited. I messaged the venue, and a cat sitter immediately cleaned it up and took the soiled mat for washing. Their service was incredibly attentive. In addition to camera monitoring, they sent photos every morning and evening, reporting on meals and litter box use.

During the initial consultation, I mentioned that my cat was timid, prone to vomiting and picky eating, and sometimes required medication. The venue emphasized that they would not force the cat to take medicine, charging only if the medication was successfully administered.

When I picked up my cat, who was initially shy, she was comfortably cradled in a staff member's arms. When choosing a room type, the staff had also recommended the smallest room for timid cats, ensuring they felt more secure.

I believe this Taipei Cat Hotel is highly professional; you can confidently entrust your cat to them, and most cats will adapt well.

Introduction

Youjianmao Inn is located on Nanjing East Road, just a one-minute walk from Nanjing Sanmin MRT Station. The inn features a warm wood-toned design, complete with fire-resistant and soundproof flooring, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The Cat Hotels are arranged in upper and lower tiers, with about 20 rooms on each side and a central corridor where cats can interact and stroll.

This Taipei Cat Hotels venue offers two room types: Deluxe and Standard. The Deluxe room can accommodate up to three cats, and a unique feature is their home pick-up and drop-off service. Each cat room is equipped with an exhaust system to ensure air quality and has 360-degree surveillance cameras, allowing owners to monitor their pets anytime via an app.

Beyond Cat Hotels, the owner, who teaches cat behavior, also offers behavior classes and daycare services during the day.

I've boarded my furry friends at Youjianmao Inn three times. The first time, the owner spent about two hours chatting with me to understand my cat's usual habits, as she's a sensitive, unsocialized cat. They even offered advice on my home's cat-friendly layout. After my cat's stay, they followed up on her condition, showing their genuine love for cats.

During your cat's stay, you can check in anytime via their app, and the venue sends daily LINE updates on your cat's eating and litter box habits. For longer stays, you can even use your cat's preferred food and litter. The venue labels food containers with detailed instructions, so even if cat sitters rotate shifts, there's no confusion!

Because the owner is so skilled at observing cat behavior, they regularly let suitable cats out for walks and playtime.

For shyer cats, there are even dimly lit and specially soundproofed rooms, perfect for sensitive cats who prefer dark spaces. Every detail at this Taipei Cat Hotel shows their dedication!
