This time, I experienced the Kaohsiung HydraFacial at Yuezhen Medical Aesthetics Clinic. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist immediately stood up and greeted me with a smile. After confirming my appointment, they arranged a skin condition test. The consultant first used professional equipment to observe my pores and oil production, then explained the appropriate skincare focus based on my skin issues, and suggested beauty essences that could be paired with the treatment. The entire process was meticulous and non-pushy, making me feel relaxed.

Once the treatment officially began, the aesthetician first removed my makeup and cleansed my face, then used the HydraFacial probe for deep cleansing. The aesthetician's technique was gentle and smooth, explaining each step beforehand. As the instrument glided across my face, there was a subtle suction and a mist-like sensation. The process was cool and completely painless, so comfortable I almost fell asleep.

After the instrument cleansing, they showed me the bottle of extracted wastewater. The originally clear water had turned into a cloudy gray liquid, with several intact blackheads floating inside—surprisingly satisfying to see. After returning to Kaohsiung from Little Liuqiu, Itata's skin was in distress from days of diving and sun exposure, with three new breakouts. She immediately decided to rush to Hemu Beauty SPA for an emergency facial rescue. She chose the Kaohsiung HydraFacial treatment, which focuses on deep cleansing and hydration.

Upon entering the venue, a friendly staff member greeted her, and two fluffy resident cats leisurely strolled by the door, creating a warm and soothing atmosphere. The interior was clean and comfortable, with perfect air conditioning—a paradise for skin just back from the scorching heat.

Before the treatment began, the aesthetician inquired about her skin condition, usual skincare routine, and immediate needs. She was then led upstairs to a private room to start the session. Hemu Beauty SPA offers spacious individual rooms for each client. Both the treatment bed and the provided gown were made of soft terry cloth, allowing her body to relax the moment she lay down.

The Kaohsiung HydraFacial treatment includes makeup removal and cleansing, toner application, exfoliation, acne extraction, alternating Kaohsiung HydraFacial and manual blackhead extraction, serum infusion, a soft mask with whitening light therapy, a hard mask with a shoulder and neck massage, and finally, toner or sunscreen application. Although scheduled for 1.5 hours, the actual session lasted nearly two hours due to explanations and conversation, making it incredibly worthwhile and hard to leave.

Itata was extremely satisfied with the overall experience: not only was the space comfortable and the resident cats adorable, but the aesthetician's voice was gentle, her technique meticulous, and she adjusted the serum infusion based on skin condition, thoroughly clearing blackheads and breakouts. The final shoulder and neck massage was also excellent, leaving her completely relaxed and feeling well cared for.

Upon leaving Hemu Beauty SPA, her face glowed as if a beauty filter had been applied. This is definitely a Kaohsiung HydraFacial spot to secretly bookmark and revisit often!

I usually opt for traditional facials, but this time I wanted to try the popular Kaohsiung HydraFacial, so I headed to Lei Light Luxury Aesthetics Skin Management Center on Huarong Road in Zuoying. What makes this venue stand out is that every skin management treatment includes a HydraFacial step. Since my skin has been on the drier side lately, I chose the "Nano Oxygen Hydrating Vortex Cleansing" treatment.

Upon entering, a friendly aesthetician greeted me and, after confirming my appointment, led me upstairs. Before the treatment began, I filled out a form, and a professional assessed my skin condition. The choice of treatment was entirely up to me, with no high-pressure sales tactics, which made me feel incredibly relaxed. Once I decided on the treatment, I settled into a super-soft aesthetic chair, thoughtfully covered with a blanket, and was so comfortable I almost drifted off to sleep.

During the treatment, the HydraFacial device felt like tiny suction cups gently adhering to my skin, using fine water jets to draw out impurities from my pores. It also had a cooling sensation, without excessive pulling or any discomfort. The most surprising part was seeing the bottle of cloudy wastewater and dead skin cells after the treatment—it was incredibly satisfying!

Aside from a slight sting during manual blackhead extraction, the other steps of the treatment, such as makeup removal, mask application, airbrush hydration, light therapy repair, and a final mask, were all very relaxing. After the treatment, I took before-and-after photos, and the improvement in skin brightness was noticeable, with cleaner, tighter pores—especially around my nose, where the blackheads were significantly cleared!

While Lei Light Luxury's decor isn't as luxurious as a medical aesthetics clinic, its performance in service details, professionalism, and actual results is commendable. You'll then wait briefly in the lobby, and after about ten minutes, a beautician will escort you to a consultation room. There, they'll confirm your chosen treatment, explain the relevant procedures, and introduce various package options.

Once in the treatment room, the beautician will briefly introduce the Black Diamond HydraFacial machine used that day, noting its unique probe differs from standard HydraFacial devices. The facial cleansing step follows immediately; it's a quick process, after which the HydraFacial treatment begins. After an initial full-face suction, manual blackhead extraction is performed for enhanced deep cleaning.

Notably, the beautician's blackhead extraction technique is gentle and precise, minimizing discomfort. After this, a second HydraFacial suction is performed. The session concludes with hyaluronic acid infusion and a rose mask application.

Throughout the treatment, the aesthetician gently explained each step before beginning, and her delicate touch was so soothing that I drifted off to sleep multiple times.

Afterward, my face felt noticeably smooth, like a "boiled egg." The aesthetician also showed me the extracted impurities, revealing just how many blackheads had been hiding on my face! The only minor drawback was that the treatment rooms are separated only by curtains, so if a neighboring client spoke loudly, there was some slight disturbance.
