Ah-Qing, who specialized in sports massage in Australia before returning to Taiwan, focuses on addressing tightness and discomfort in athletes.

Stepping inside, you're greeted not by the bright lights of a traditional massage venue, but by a subdued, dark palette and industrial design. A subtle, soothing aroma fills the air, and soft artificial turf underfoot creates an atmosphere more akin to a relaxing American gym.

The pre-massage consultation was exceptionally thorough. Ah-Qing not only inquired about Itatata's sore spots and exercise habits but also incorporated movement tests to pinpoint the root cause of the tightness. During the session, his pressure was steady and deep, and he always gave a gentle heads-up before working on a trigger point, which helped ease any tension.

What truly impressed Itatata was Ah-Qing's ability to precisely work on deep fascia right along the "edge of the bone"—a sensation of aching numbness that gradually released, providing an unprecedented experience.

The cool metal fascia blade gliding over taut skin, that tingling, scraping sensation of soreness and numbness, is the most vivid memory of Aititai Sports Massage for Itata. With increased exercise frequency recently, Itata's upper limbs and front thighs had become stiff, so this 2-hour deep relaxation session began.

This Kaohsiung Massage venue doesn't follow a rigid routine; instead, after palpation, it precisely identified the root cause of Itata's noticeably raised left shoulder. Then, fascia blades of varying sizes were used in rotation, from shoulders and neck to legs, complemented by a special cupping technique. A deep, sore, and swollen sensation accompanied the slightly prickly scraping of the fascia blades. The pain was clear but tolerable, as if layers of long-adhered muscle fibers were being peeled away.

The venue's space is bright and open, but due to large glass windows, some actions requiring clothing to be pulled up might need a bit of mental preparation for those who value privacy; women are advised to wear a sports bra. After the massage, the body felt as if it had been recalibrated. This time, I opted for Benji Sports Massage's half-body relaxation package, starting with a foot massage. It began with a warm foot bath to thoroughly relax my feet, followed by the therapist's skilled and impactful pressure. My big toe felt particularly sore, and the therapist thoughtfully explained it corresponds to the trigeminal nerve; if it's especially sensitive, it might indicate late nights or eye strain. That's when I realized I really needed to pay attention to my lifestyle.

Next, the therapist used a fascia knife for myofascial release. As the technique deepened, I could feel the previously tight, stuck fascia slowly releasing. What was especially considerate was that the therapist noticed an old scar on my foot, proactively asked about it, and mentioned that past injuries can cause fascia to shift, requiring extra attention.

Then came the upper body massage. My back, shoulders, and neck were noticeably tense. The initial pressure was a bit painful, but the therapist's technique was so skilled that the deep knots gradually loosened. My left back, shoulder, and neck felt significantly more relaxed afterward, and I felt much lighter overall.
