Most diving courses are still based on shore diving, but Yuhai Xianggan uses boat diving as the main training content, because Coach Agan knows very well that more than 80% of the diving spots in foreign diving trips require boat diving to reach. Let students become familiar with the process and conditions of boat diving in advance, not only for the purpose of obtaining a license, but also in the hope that students can apply what they have learned to actual diving trips.

Coach Agan’s teaching style is known for its meticulousness and rigor, and he pays special attention to students’ diving safety and techniques. He will observe whether the students' breathing rhythm and movements in the water are in place, and provide immediate guidance and encouragement underwater. After going ashore, the coach will also play underwater videos and review them with the students to make learning more effective.

If the sea conditions are stable on that day, the coach will arrange advanced experiences such as drift hooking and drifting, allowing students to explore different underwater worlds while ensuring safety. Moreover, Coach Agan is good at taking underwater photos. Whether it is the interaction with sea turtles and corals, or his heroic figure next to a shipwreck, he can help students leave with beautiful memories.

Coach Agan has taught in PG Island, Philippines in the past. He is capable of teaching in English and can adjust the teaching language according to the needs of foreign students.

The "Boat Diving Course" is a project strongly promoted by Yu Hai Xiang Kan. Unlike general dive shops that charge extra fees, Yu Hai Xiang Kan incorporates boat diving into the formal course design to help students become familiar with more realistic diving situations and prepare for future overseas dive trips.

Suitable for friends who are new to diving. They will be led one-on-one by a coach, and will actually wear the equipment and go into the water to experience the real feeling of diving.

The entry-level diving certification course of Yuhai is taught "indoors". Students can learn how to install diving equipment in a cool air-conditioned room, which is really comfortable!

The advanced course of Island and Sea is specially designed as 4 shore dives + 4 boat dives, a total of 8 diving trainings, covering specialties such as perfect buoyancy, night diving, deep diving and boat diving. This is an intensive course that you cannot miss before preparing for an overseas diving trip.

The course includes 2 boat dives and 3 shore dives, covering boat diving and deep diving expertise. It is suitable for students who have basic diving skills and want to further challenge advanced diving sites. Upon completion, you will obtain the specialty qualification to dive to 40 meters.

This course is specially designed for students with limited time and budget. It only takes two days and one night. If you do not yet have the advanced diver qualification, this certificate can still be used as a basis for participating in some overseas deep diving or boat diving activities, providing more flexibility for diving trips.

Since passing the OW exam, I haven't dived again. In order to ensure Itata's diving condition, the coach specially arranged a test dive. After evaluating the situation and finding it good, he reviewed the basic OW skills before officially entering the advanced diving training.

The two perfect buoyancy training sessions on the second day mainly practiced breathing ascent, breathing descent, releasing the buoyancy belt and frog kicking. The maximum depth of these two dives was 13 meters. Since Itata was not yet accustomed to breathing control, the process was a bit chaotic.

When training for the frog kick, Itata always swam using the breaststroke at first. After many attempts, he finally mastered the technique and experienced a more energy-saving way of moving forward in the water.

Releasing the buoyancy belt was a big challenge in this training because there were too many things to deal with. First, I had to untie the buoyancy belt and the line could not be too long. Then I took the spare second-level head to release it. During the process, I was too focused and ended up holding my breath subconsciously, causing a rapid ascent. This can only be left for next practice.

The process of night diving is roughly the same as that of day diving. The most important things to pay attention to are the use of night equipment and hand gestures in the water. When I went into the water, I found that the water temperature was almost the same as during the day, but the visibility was low and it was dark everywhere. There were also many sea urchins on the seabed, so I had to pay special attention to buoyancy control.

Fortunately, they encountered a sea turtle coming out to look for food that night. Although it was still far away from Itata, the moment Itata saw the turtle, he felt a panic in the water.

On the day of the boat dive, the coach took Itata on board early to check the equipment and measure the oxygen concentration in the tank.

The boat drove for about 10 minutes. After arriving at the dive site, the instructor began to introduce the dive site and reminded us of precautions.

The coach then discussed with the other coaches and crew members on the same ship which diving spot would be more suitable for today.

The first time I went diving off the boat was really nerve-wracking, especially the initial stride into the water. Thanks to the encouragement of other companions on the boat, I had the courage to jump down. I overcame my little mental barrier and felt quite a sense of accomplishment.

The first dive was to the Venice shipwreck for deep diving training. The water current was strong and it was difficult to pull the rope down. After arriving at the shipwreck, we had to hold on to the hull to avoid drifting away. This was the first time that Itata saw a large shipwreck 33 meters underwater, and he was very excited. Diving at this depth, you can no longer rely on chest breathing to control floating up and down, and you must make full use of the BCD. This is a brand new experience.

When returning to the port for a rest between dives, the boatman brought hot fish ball soup, which was warm and delicious and greatly calmed Itata's tension.

The second dive was to the Beauty Cave, with a maximum depth of 28 meters and super high visibility. I was lucky enough to see Pikachu and a small stingray, and played with the hook. It was super fun!

After a short break after two dives, the instructor reviewed the diving actions with the students after dinner, especially mentioning the "five-meter three-minute stop" and "buoyancy belt release", and emphasized the importance of these details.

The boat dive on the second day was no longer as stressful as the day before, but instead was filled with excitement! The first dive was to the box net area, to pay homage to the rarely seen "turtle tomb".

The second dive was to the lobster cave soft coral area. Seeing the pink corals, it felt like arriving at an underwater garden!

After completing the five-meter three-minute stop, the buoyancy belt was deployed perfectly. If I hadn't been at the bottom of the sea at that moment, I would have really wanted to scream and jump!

After a few days of intensive courses, I finally passed the exams and obtained four SSI specialty certificates, including high oxygen, deep diving, perfect buoyancy and boat diving. It was really gratifying!

After passing the exam, I received a surprise little gift, which really touched me. After returning home, I put on the Yuhaixiangkan T-shirt and felt that I had become a part of Yuhaixiangkan, as if I had my own home in Xiaoliuqiu.
