Ariel's favorite spot is the lounge area, which offers not only a fantastic photo backdrop and marine life plushies, but also a rich collection of ocean-themed books for divers to read after their Penghu Diving experience, deepening their understanding of the sea.

The posters on the wall also catch your eye, with "Monthly Serenade," "Snow," and "MEET YOUR FLOW" written on them. We asked the venue and learned these are events they host. "Monthly Serenade" is for Riri Diving participants who sign up for any of their activities that month: if you share a photo taken by Riri Diving on your Instagram, you'll be entered into a drawing for a small diving gift.

Before you get in the water, the instructor helps everyone put on their diving gear and checks it thoroughly. In the shallower areas, they'll teach you how to use the regulator and practice solving common issues like a leaky mask or a flooded regulator.

Ariel has been to other Penghu Diving venues, most of which choose Hangwan Underwater Postbox as their Penghu Diving spot. The Riri Diving coach not only introduced the Underwater Postbox, which is suitable for beginners, but also mentioned that Shanshui Port offers close encounters with sea turtles, so the choice of dive site depends on the day's sea conditions and wind direction.

The instructor also mentioned other unique Penghu Diving spots, such as underwater basalt formations, small fault lines, and a 30-meter-deep sea fan area. However, these locations require specific diving certifications to visit, which made Ariel secretly determined to explore more of Penghu's diverse underwater scenery and unlock more of its fascinating diving secrets.

Here’s a pro tip: Riri Diving’s instructors recommend booking your Penghu Diving experience during high tide for better underwater visibility. Don't worry about rain when you go diving; it won't affect your experience. Only lightning can disrupt a dive, so if you encounter a rainy day during your Penghu Diving trip, you can still fully enjoy the activity—and even be glad you won't get sunstroke when you surface!

The Riri Diving instructors guided Ariel through the fascinating marine life, from the artificial coral reefs in Hangwan Bay to a dazzling array of colorful fish, making her feel as if she had stepped into an underwater dragon's palace.

Throughout the entire Penghu Diving experience, Ariel appreciated the instructors' focus on safety while happily exploring the beautiful underwater world. Best of all, they used a TG6 underwater camera with flash to capture many exquisite photos. Even though visibility was only average that day, the resulting pictures were still stunning.

Ariel absolutely loved her experience at Riri Diving, not just for the professional, high-quality service from the instructors, but also for the venue's compelling philosophy.

Instructor Vic explained that for those unfamiliar with the ocean, it can seem mysterious and dangerous. However, once you take the time to truly understand it and embrace proper safety practices, diving becomes like a "blue opium"—addictive in the best possible way.

Ariel noticed that Riri Diving's Facebook page often shared information about marine issues, which made it clear they are a group of like-minded individuals who truly love the ocean.

Riri Diving's certification courses include ocean clean-up initiatives, and the venue also partners with the Penghu Seedling Farm to plant coral. This means everyone who comes for Penghu Diving can not only get close to the ocean and experience its beauty, but also contribute to its sustainability, preserving the stunning underwater scenery for future generations.

After your experience, Riri Diving will issue you a certificate to commemorate your Penghu Diving adventure. The instructor also mentioned that anyone holding a Riri Diving experience certificate will receive a NT$1,000 discount if they return to the venue to pursue a full diving certification.

The entire Riri Diving experience allowed Ariel to fully immerse herself in the beautiful underwater world, completely losing track of time — what Riri Diving likely refers to as a "flow state."
