Despite the unsightly department store sign (which you can easily ignore), the romantic flower displays and ceremony gazebo create an almost international ambiance.

However, this venue does not have a dedicated bridal suite; brides must use the guest room restrooms for makeup. This could potentially impact the wedding day timeline, so couples should consider this carefully.

Evergreen Laurel is one of the more traditional Taichung Wedding Venues, and Lina was pleasantly surprised when she visited on a whim.

The staff are attentive and proactive in assisting couples, the venue is spacious, and the cuisine is affordably priced. The Rose Hall offers a charming and intimate dining experience, and it's wonderful that the banquet hall includes a private bridal suite and guest restrooms, providing a sense of exclusive privacy. The only drawback is the lack of a dedicated ceremony space, which couples needing one should consider.

Additionally, the all-in-one service is very convenient, covering everything from the emcee, personal attendant, floral arrangements, and lighting control to complimentary parking.

However, most of these venues are medium-sized, accommodating around 20-30 tables, which means fewer options for couples planning smaller weddings.

Lancaster House is divided into a ceremony hall and two ballrooms. MissChi found it fresh and beautiful, with green carpets and crisp chair designs in the ballrooms, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, making you feel as if you're in a European estate. Plus, there's a dedicated parking lot right next to the venue, so parking is free.

MissChi highly recommends adding the ceremony hall for your vows. If you have enough tables, you'll also get the exclusive experience of having the entire venue to yourselves for your event.

MissChi's only minor quibble was that the bridal suite was a bit small, but the venue offers plenty of other beautiful spaces for photos, which helps make up for it.

Laiting Wedding Venue is known for its beautiful and stylish decor, and Lina's visit confirmed its distinctive flair, with each hall offering a unique character.

Our main tour focused on the LUMIÈRE and Laiting halls. The LUMIÈRE hall features a dark color palette, with blue-green and colorful chairs that evoke a French pop-art elegance, leaning towards a party atmosphere. The only drawback is its lower ceiling height.

The Laiting hall, located on the top floor, offers a fresh American style and was one of Lina's favorites.

However, couples planning smaller weddings should note the limited flexibility. Both the LUMIÈRE and Laiting halls accommodate a maximum of seven tables for smaller events, and these smaller bookings do not include accommodation services.

Lina visited the Spring Sakura, Summer Bamboo, Autumn Maple, Winter Plum, and Pine & Cypress halls on the 14th floor.

While there's no elaborate stage lighting, the bright natural light and well-proportioned, pristine spaces are refreshing. The floor-to-ceiling windows can be opened to enjoy the view, making these venues ideal for smaller wedding banquets.

One minor drawback is the lack of an elevator on this floor; guests need to walk up one flight of stairs to reach the halls. Elderly guests or those with mobility issues will need to ask staff to guide them to the service elevator.

Lina's favorite was the Summer Bamboo hall, which features a darker interior design, creating a sense of classic luxury. It includes a dining area that seats 24, along with a comfortable, plush sofa lounge, making it perfect for intimate family dinners or engagement ceremonies.
