Kingdom of Dreams Escape Room: Anya Review (Spoiler-Free)Thai Campus Horror with Full Immersion

Twosevenths mystery shopper Anya reviewed Mengyou Wangguo, offering a spoiler-free take on its Thai campus horror theme, complete with bell-ringing ghost chases. You can even change into Thai school uniforms upon entry, and character side quests influence the puzzle-solving pace and division of labor. There are two versions to choose from—mild or horror—and the expansive setting requires knee pads. The game involves a three-minute unlock sequence and dodging flashlights; the puzzles are friendly but heavily rely on teamwork, leadership, and three brave players. Even beginners will find their hearts racing and be able to get the hang of it. This experience is perfect for fans of horror-themed ghost chases and teams looking to try a Thai campus supernatural theme.

The story is set at Surama High School. Anya is a popular student, but her classmates have long controlled her "for her own good": Bank hides her lunch, Katie locks her in the girls' restroom before gym class, and Chris posts her diary on the bulletin board. As the graduation trip approaches, Anya longs for smiles, friendship, and to be remembered by name—this seemingly warm but actually oppressive memory of youth becomes the fuse for the entire supernatural campus incident.

Characters aren't just window dressing: every player holds a private connection intertwined with Anya.

Once your booking is complete, players are invited to join a LINE group where "Senior Meng" welcomes everyone to the school, and each player chooses their own character. Before the main story begins on the day of the game, seniors wearing uniforms embroidered with Thai names will lead you into the preparation room. They kick things off with a very detailed explanation of the "bell-ringing game" rules, and each character has a personal storyline connected to themselves and to "Anya."

These clues are more than just background — they actively influence the game's flow and puzzle-solving decisions: who acts first, who engages in dialogue, and whose information triggers the next plot point. To play smoothly, you'll need to read carefully and share information with each other.
