“Come with an open and joyful heart!” That’s the founder’s biggest wish for everyone attending a workshop.
Ching came to experience Taipei Metalworking, and the designer emphasized that no art background is needed to easily complete a piece. There are many styles available to choose from, and the instructor provides professional advice, allowing ample time to decide on a design, which is very reassuring.
Rather than creating a perfect piece, the founder hopes that every participant in the class can focus on enjoying the creative process, making each moment a memorable one.

Before starting the workshop, Ching was invited to browse and try on pieces from two large display cases.
Ching tried on various rings to experience different widths, sizes, twists, textures, and engravings, then discussed her preferences with the designer.

Once you've chosen your ideal design, it's time to transform into a metalsmith and start hammering away.
The designer will provide silver strips for practice and demonstrate how to create each texture, offering helpful tips to avoid injury. Then, you'll have ample time for individual practice.

#Craft a ring from scratch in a historic house
Ching attended a silver ring workshop, and as she entered the Dadaocheng area, she was immediately captivated by the historic architecture. Stepping into MixGene Jewelry Studio, the wooden decor and abundant greenery created an even more serene and comfortable atmosphere.
The class was relaxed and enjoyable. Compared to other Taipei Metalworking workshops, MixGene Jewelry Studio offers greater creative freedom. Participants can fully express their creativity with patterns, text, or shapes, and the designers are dedicated to meeting everyone's needs.
Ching, usually not very good with her hands, was quite nervous before starting, worried she wouldn't be happy with the finished product. However, with the designer's gentle guidance and support, she successfully completed her own silver ring and absolutely loved the result.
