The atmosphere at 金日工飾 is incredibly comfortable, with natural light creating a serene, timeless ambiance. Donning an apron here feels like the start of a romantic adventure! What sets this venue apart is the unique range of designs you can create, and the materials are thick enough to allow for confident engraving, making the hands-on experience much more satisfying and rewarding. The overall experience is excellent; you get to actively participate in every step, making it perfect for those who love a fully DIY approach. Plus, they provide snacks during the process, and the instructor helps capture photos, so you can easily walk away with beautiful couple's rings! It’s also a fantastic activity to enjoy with friends or your besties!

Cafes are a classic romantic date spot, and they're more than just a place to grab coffee — they're a pit stop where conversations flow naturally and hearts draw closer. For couples in Hsinchu, "一百種味道" (Yibai Zhong Weidao) is an absolute must-visit!

The venue's bohemian style creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and their handmade desserts are simply delicious! Made with fresh ingredients, they offer a light and refreshing taste. The Green Grape Yogurt Tart is especially recommended — you'll taste the sweet and tangy green grapes in almost every bite; it's generously filled and incredibly refreshing. The Chestnut and Cantaloupe flavors are also excellent. Drinks are average, with no major issues. "一百種味道" is beautiful throughout and perfect for photos, but it's also very popular, so remember to book in advance!

For a romantic dinner after dark, Essence Studio is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is exquisitely romantic, with a sophisticated, slightly retro feel thanks to the understated blue decor and dark wood accents.

Beyond the comfortable setting, the food is also exceptional. The duck breast with figs is delicious, with the rich aroma from the duck fat and the intense flavor that fills your mouth being truly surprising! The crab roe seafood scallop risotto is also excellent; the seafood is fresh, and its pure flavors are fully expressed, with distinct textural layers between the different seafood elements. We also ordered some appetizers, such as shrimp confit and chicken liver with green bamboo shoots, which, paired with a little wine, made for a very satisfying and atmospheric meal. Aside from the fried potato chips, which were fairly standard, we were quite pleased with all the other dishes.

While the overall pricing is on the higher side, and a NT$500 per person deposit is required when booking, it’s well worth trying for a date! Sharing a romantic and delicious dinner with your loved one is a truly luxurious experience!
