Neihu Spring Day Trip ItineraryStrawberry picking, cherry blossoms, sunset views, and ear-cleaning spa — all four activities included
Twosevenths has curated the ultimate chill day trip itinerary for Neihu. Start your morning with the fun of strawberry picking at a local farm, then stroll through the stunning Qingfeng Pavilion cherry blossom tunnel for beautiful photos. In the evening, head to Bishanyan Observation Deck to take in the sunset over the Taipei Basin, and finally, unwind with a professional ear-cleaning session.

First Stop: Neihu Leisure Farm

For the sweetest spring memories in Neihu, your first stop absolutely has to be strawberry picking!
While Neihu's Baishihu mountain area offers many strawberry farms, the Twosevenths editor highly recommends Neihu Leisure Farm, which has an excellent reputation. Not only does its elevated greenhouse cultivation make picking easier and mud-free, but it also grows rare white strawberries! The farm owner is incredibly friendly and patiently explains picking techniques, and the entire venue is meticulously maintained.
A special reminder: if you visit on a weekday, be sure to call ahead for a reservation. Also, the extremely popular DIY activities are only available for online booking and cannot be registered for on-site, so those interested should reserve their spot online in advance.
Strolling through the orchard with a small basket, the fragrant scent of strawberries instantly fills you with a healing spring countryside vibe. After picking a full box of ruby-red strawberries, we can continue our Neihu walk with a sweet feeling!

Stop 2: Cherry Blossoms at Qingfeng Pavilion

After strawberry picking, a stroll along Bishan Road quickly brings you to Neihu’s most iconic cherry blossom secret spot: the Qingfeng Pavilion Cherry Blossom Tunnel. This pilgrimage staircase, located next to Yuanjue Temple, is lined with delicate pink Prunus campanulata cherry trees. When they bloom in mid-to-late February each year, they always draw large crowds. Take advantage of the cool afternoon weather to wander up the long stone steps, where you’ll see a sea of pink and white cherry blossoms overhead. When the breeze blows, a romantic shower of petals drifts down—it’s an incredibly dreamy sight!
Continuing up the stone steps, Qingfeng Pavilion itself is the best photo spot. With its antique Eastern pavilion architecture, complemented by rustic stone lanterns and deity sculptures lining the staircase, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a shrine in Kyoto, Japan! The stunning combination of pink cherry blossoms and traditional architecture makes every corner and every turn incredibly photogenic!

Stop 3: Bishanyan Temple for Sunset

After a romantic stroll through the cherry blossom tunnel, follow the stairs up to their end, and you'll arrive at Neihu's bustling Bishan Temple, dedicated to Kaizhang Shengwang. This is Taiwan's largest temple honoring Kaizhang Shengwang, and while it's a wonderful place for sincere prayer and blessings, Twosevenths is also bringing you here for another major highlight: the incredible, unobstructed observation deck!
Standing on the temple's expansive platform, the entire panorama of the Taipei Basin unfolds before your eyes. You can clearly see the winding Tamsui River, planes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport, and even Taipei 101 standing tall in the distance. As the sun sets, golden rays bathe the city, and the sky gradually transforms into shades of orange-red and romantic purple-pink, instantly melting away the day's fatigue with this grand spectacle. As night falls, you can continue to enjoy a million-dollar view of Taipei's dazzling nightscape. This spot is absolutely our top secret pick for sunset and night views in Neihu!

Stop Four: Lù Bǎo Bǎo Ear Picking SPA

As the day winds down after a full day of hiking and climbing, we head to Lubaobao Neihu Donghu Flagship Store, one of Twosevenths's editors' favorite spots for ultimate relaxation. This venue specializes in professional ear cleaning and head relaxation SPA treatments, and its warm, comfortable environment instantly puts you at ease. Lubaobao's ear cleaning specialists are all certified professionals, and their techniques are incredibly gentle and delicate. With the help of peacock feathers, tuning forks, and specialized tools, the tingling sensation is truly blissful!
