Meipu Farm's most distinctive feature is its "picking area and restaurant in the same building." The strawberry fields are located in a second-floor greenhouse, while the ground floor houses a strawberry-themed restaurant. This layout allows visitors to register for a meal while waiting to pick strawberries, or head straight downstairs to relax after picking.

The farm has a total of six greenhouses, and the staff rotates which sections are open daily based on the ripeness of the strawberries. Once the day's open section has been picked clean, no further entry is allowed. Strawberry picking is not available by reservation; it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. For the best selection, we recommend arriving promptly at opening time.

Stepping into the greenhouse, the first thing you notice is how clean the ground is. Unlike the muddy strawberry fields you might imagine, Meipu Farm has canvas laid out across the entire floor, so your shoes stay dry even if you visit on a rainy day.

The strawberries are grown in a two-tiered elevated system. The upper tier is about 120 cm high, perfect for adults to pick from while standing, while the lower tier is easily accessible for children. The aisles aren't particularly wide, but this closeness naturally encourages interaction among family members, prompting them to point out ripe berries to each other. The air is filled with a faint, sweet strawberry aroma—a rare treat in the city.

Meipu Farm primarily cultivates the Perfume and Beauty Princess strawberry varieties. Prices are consistent across all varieties, weighed and charged by the Taiwanese catty after picking. Please note that the picking area accepts cash only.

The owner often shares a key tip: "Pick the red ones, not necessarily the biggest." Fully ripe strawberries offer a rich sweetness with a hint of tartness, and their aroma distinctly fills your mouth. The moment you snip a berry, you're greeted by its fresh scent—a rare and therapeutic sensation in city life.

Meipu Farm's biggest draw is its first-floor restaurant, which offers strawberry cakes, strawberry ice cream, strawberry drinks, and even strawberry pizza. You can register for a table while waiting to pick strawberries, then head straight downstairs to eat after you're done.

The restaurant accepts electronic payments like Line Pay, separate from the cash-only strawberry picking area. Many families plan a full lunch outing here, rather than just coming to pick strawberries and leaving.

Meipu Farm is located near Baishihu Suspension Bridge and the Spring and Autumn Trail. After picking strawberries, you can stroll along the suspension bridge or visit Bishanyan Temple for scenic views. In winter, when the bald cypress trees turn red, it becomes a popular photo spot in Neihu.
