Day 1 First Stop|Naturdise Caf'e

Day 1 First Stop|Naturdise Caf'e

If you and your partner have different interests, you can still have a perfect date at Naturdise Café! This spot is a dream come true for both outdoor enthusiasts and café lovers.

Naturdise Café, located on Chaozhou Street, brings the camping experience right into the city. The entire venue is designed with an outdoor camping theme, featuring tents, camping chairs, wooden tables, and lush greenery. Soft lighting streams through large floor-to-ceiling windows, creating the illusion of being in a forest campsite. Whether you want to unwind on a weekday or enjoy a leisurely brunch with your partner on the weekend, this "urban camping base" offers a cozy corner for happiness and relaxation.

The menu shines with everything from brunch and quiches to desserts. Popular must-tries include the Smoked Salmon Scrambled Egg Toast, Salmon Spinach Onion Quiche, and Sea Salt Caramel Latte. Even the desserts are incredibly delicious; the Three-Liquor Tiramisu was particularly memorable! What's even more interesting is that during certain hours, a Zi Wei Dou Shu (Chinese astrology) master is on-site, offering a free 15-minute fortune-telling session with any meal. If you happen to catch them, it's a fun way to add a unique twist and conversation starter to your date.

Day 1 Stop 2|maoxxi

Day 1 Stop 2|maoxxi

After you’ve had your fill at a café, it’s just a five-minute walk to 毛系 maoxxi, a tufting studio specializing in free-form creation, nestled between Guting and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall stations. The studio is located in a bright and spacious basement, and classes are kept small, ensuring ample creative time and high-quality instruction. Teachers adjust the pace to each student’s progress, making it a truly relaxed creative space.

The courses are diverse: you can bring your own design or choose from existing templates. It’s perfect for couples looking to create matching rugs or design personalized commemorative items. Beyond rugs, you can also make practical items like mirrors, coasters, headbands, and bags. Helping each other with color choices and exchanging ideas during the crafting process, then taking home a cute and meaningful rug, makes for a wonderful couple’s date activity.

毛系’s greatest feature is its emphasis on creative freedom; teachers offer assistance with repairs or guidance only when needed, without excessive interference. If it’s your first time using a tufting gun, there’s no need to worry—the teachers will guide you step-by-step through setup and design, ensuring beginners have a great time. With over 90 yarn colors available, from soft milky teas to vibrant neons, almost all the materials you need for creation are provided. You might even encounter their adorable shop dog patrolling the classroom, adding to a delightful afternoon of tufting and dog petting.

Day 1, Stop 3|Meitingyuan Muxin SPA

Day 1, Stop 3|Meitingyuan Muxin SPA

After a session of tufting, there’s nothing better than a traditional Thai massage to soothe your arms and body, which have just been put to good use!

Meitingyuan Muxin SPA is a massage venue specializing in Northern Thai techniques. The overall ambiance here evokes a strong Southeast Asian resort vibe, with subdued lighting, subtle aromas, and wooden decor that instantly transports you away from the city's hustle into a tranquil escape. It’s perfect for couples looking to relax and unwind.

This venue is renowned for its rare "Northern Thai traditional massage," a technique emphasizing precision and rhythm. The experience begins with a foot cleansing and massage, gradually progressing to full-body myofascial release and passive yoga. This is complemented by lavender and sweet orange essential oils, along with hot compresses using imported Thai herbal balls, ensuring every muscle is thoroughly stretched. Throughout the massage, the therapist continuously checks the pressure, adjusting the rhythm and depth according to your individual needs, releasing tension from head to toe. Couples can opt for a synchronized session in a double room. After the treatment, hot tea and snacks are served, completing a truly holistic and therapeutic experience.

Day 1, Stop 4|Meowvelous Dunbei Club

Day 1, Stop 4|Meowvelous Dunbei Club
After a massage, you're bound to be hungry — it's an immutable law of the universe! That's why we chose Meowvelous Dunbei Club, just an 8-minute walk from the spa, to fill up on delicious food and cocktails.

Meowvelous is a unique venue that transformed an old Taipei house into a modern bistro. From the moment you arrive, it exudes a strong sense of nostalgia and clever design. Inside, the lighting is dim, the atmosphere lively and vibrant, and cat elements are hidden everywhere, from wall art to cutlery details, all cute and full of personality. It's a popular spot for couples on dates or friends gathering for a meal.

The menu blends creativity with Taiwanese flavors, making for dishes that are both fun and high-quality. There are so many classic creative items you absolutely can't miss, like the "Exploding Pork Nuggets," crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, incredibly addictive with the special dipping sauce. One of the venue's signatures, the "Red Oil Bacon Carbonara," combines a soft-boiled egg with the aroma of chili oil; the spice level is just right, making it rich and smooth. Dessert lovers shouldn't skip the "Condensed Milk Pizza," a perfect blend of sweet and savory with a full aroma. Finally, it's okay to miss other items, but you absolutely must try the signature "Champion Fries" and the cold noodles, which even actor Tony Leung has enjoyed, with your significant other — they're too good to eat alone, or your partner will be mad!

The cocktails here are also very distinctive. The drink menu is adorable, with each drink featuring a unique illustration and story. Good food, good drinks, and your loved one — it's the perfect date night!

Day 1, Stop 5|Beef Noodles & Chicken Soup

Day 1, Stop 5|Beef Noodles & Chicken Soup

Beef Noodle Soup & Chicken Soup, open until 3:30 AM, is one of the best choices for a warm, comforting late-night meal after a night out.

The venue is clean and bright, with spacious seating and a modern, streamlined atmosphere that feels more contemporary than a traditional beef noodle shop. While you might see a queue even in the early hours, the turnover is quick, so there's no need to worry. The stars of the menu are undoubtedly the braised beef noodle soup and the chicken soup. The braised beef noodle soup boasts a rich, savory broth with a hint of soy, offering deep layers of flavor from the first bite. You can choose various combinations of beef, tendon, and tripe; the beef is tender yet springy, deeply braised on the outside while retaining its juices within. The noodles are elastic and never overcooked. Add a bit of their special pickled mustard greens to elevate the flavor even further.

Then there's the chicken soup, available in several flavors. While "Garlic Chicken Soup" is a popular choice, after drinking, a bowl of "Peeled Chili Chicken Soup" is incredibly refreshing and slightly spicy, perfect for sobering up. If you're still a bit hungry, consider a platter of braised side dishes. This combination will warm both your stomach and your heart, bringing a perfect end to your day.

Day 2, Stop 1|Dah Heh Hei Bao

Day 2, Stop 1|Dah Heh Hei Bao

Tucked away in an alley behind the Hotel Okura Prestige Taipei, near Zhongshan Station, is Dahoheibao, a mysterious old house café with no sign, no reservations, and no phone. Its simple exterior belies a poetic charm. Note that the venue can only accommodate one group of three guests at a time, making it an ideal spot for a quiet date.

Inside, the dim lighting and industrial-style concrete walls create a serene, peaceful atmosphere, like a small universe separated from the city. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a moment of quiet, this is an excellent choice! Order a Warabi Mochi Latte, with its rich, warm, and not-too-sweet kinako aroma, paired with an egg salad toast or a handmade pudding with a hint of bitter caramel. The interplay of sweet and savory flavors is perfect for drawing two people closer. The tiramisu is especially delightful, with a rich, boozy aroma that offers a grown-up romance.

After your coffee and dessert, take a five-minute stroll to Good Timing Studio Zhongshan to capture those beautiful moments from your date. From the moment you step inside Good Timing Studio, you'll feel their dedication to the photography experience: a bright, Nordic-style space with clearly defined zones, including a sofa lounge, a dressing area, the studio, and a photo selection area. Day 2, Stop 3|KATSU Shin Zhongshan Venue

Day 2, Stop 3|KATSU Shin Zhongshan Venue

A perfect date absolutely has to end with a delicious dinner! After your photoshoot, take a stroll to the nearby KATSU 鑫 for a bowl of their signature "Aged Pork Cutlet Donburi." This venue always has a line out the door, so even on a weekday evening, you'll need to patiently wait to be seated.

The interior design continues the minimalist Japanese style, with a wooden bar counter surrounding an open kitchen. Sitting at the bar, watching the chefs fry the pork cutlets, creates a warm and soothing atmosphere. For couples looking for a quiet place to focus on savoring their meal, the dining ambiance here is especially suitable; sitting side-by-side watching the chefs cook is a romantic moment of shared understanding.

If you and your partner have trouble deciding, this is the perfect place, as the menu is simple and clear with only two choices. You can both try everything, and the joy of sharing is better than having it all to yourself! The pork cutlet is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and thick. The accompanying white rice is perfectly fluffy, while the scrambled egg rice is delicate and fragrant. The other pickles, side dishes, soup, and dessert are rich in layers and full of sincerity, making this a truly refined and delicious little venue!
