Duorou Guoling Strawberry and Melon Farm Experience Review

Strawberry Picking in Taoyuan is always a popular weekend activity during strawberry season. This time, we visited Duorou Guoling Strawberry and Melon Farm in Zhongli's Guoling area, and were thoroughly impressed by the scale of its greenhouses, elevated growing beds, and diverse range of varieties.

This isn't just a simple strawberry farm; it's a multi-faceted agricultural venue that combines succulent plants with melon and fruit cultivation. The owner, who previously ran a succulent plant business at Taipei's Jianguo Flower Market for many years, ventured into strawberry cultivation in late 2024. They extended their expertise to greenhouse-grown melons and fruits, resulting in this well-planned farm with clear pathways.

✦The greenhouse is massive, with rows of elevated strawberry plants stretching as far as the eye can see.

Stepping into the greenhouse, the first thing you notice is the sheer spaciousness. Natural light streams through the steel frame, illuminating rows of elevated strawberry plants that stretch from the entrance, symmetrically arranged in what appears to be nearly 20 aisles. The wide, tidy pathways prevent any feeling of crowding or pressure, making the overall layout very clear and inviting.

This greenhouse spans approximately 600 ping (about 20,000 sq ft) and cultivates nearly 20,000 strawberry plants. Compared to smaller farms, this venue offers a more expansive visual experience, perfect for leisurely browsing and picking.
