Although Nanshan Chuanqi is not at a high elevation, the scenery within the camping area is beautiful, especially the orange-red sea of clouds and sunset in the evening, which left a deep impression.

For dinner, you can barbecue or enjoy a hot pot in the semi-open living tent. James visited in winter, and it got very cold in the mountains at night, but the tents had heating, making them very warm. A group of friends could play cards and chat until dawn without any issues.

Stepping into Ziranquan Farm, you're immediately enveloped by a dreamy landscape of cacti and lush greenery—it's utterly beautiful and incredibly romantic. However, we did all our cooking and chatting outside, so we didn't feel cramped at all. The beds were soft, and James found them quite comfortable after sleeping on them.

Overall, Xiaoniu Camping Ground has a very well-designed environment. The bathroom facilities are ample and clean, and the night lighting is just right—not too dark to get lost in the middle of the night, and not too bright to cause light pollution and obscure the starry sky.

We especially recommend the nearby bamboo forest; it has a "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" martial arts vibe, perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.
