Light Stone Energy Steam House光之石能量汗蒸會館
光之石能量汗蒸會館 About the Venue
IntroductionLight Stone Energy Steam House, nestled in a quiet alley in Taipei's Songshan District, is a stress-relief sanctuary just a two-minute walk from Nanjing Sanmin MRT Station Exit 2, offering an instant escape from the city's hustle.
Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by warm cream-colored walls and rich wooden floors, accented with green plants. The first floor houses a reception and lounge area, along with private massage rooms, while the Taipei Korean Saunas, built with tourmaline (also known as electric stone) floor tiles, are located in the basement. This venue exudes a cozy, charming, family-style atmosphere, creating a pure sense of relaxation as if you've returned home.
The core highlight of this venue is undoubtedly its two specially designed steaming rooms, crafted with tourmaline floor tiles. When heated, tourmaline releases a large amount of negative ions and far-infrared rays, filling the room with energy. This energy resonates with human cells, accelerating microcapillary dilation and promoting overall blood and qi circulation.
Before the experience begins, the venue provides a comprehensive explanation of the process, ensuring customers understand all the important considerations for their session. They also detail the benefits of different postures during the session, specifically recommending a prone position for female customers to warm the uterus.
Furthermore, the venue offers a complete range of amenities, from dedicated steaming clothes and disposable underwear to body lotion, conditioner, hairdryers, and even hot herbal tea for the cool-down phase.
Beyond the standalone steaming experience, another major service focus at Light Stone Energy Steam House is massage, particularly the "steaming combined with massage" option. Massage services include acupressure, oil massage, foot massage, and "model leg" treatments. After a steaming session, when muscles are softened as if by a hot compress, customers can directly receive a deep, soothing massage from professional therapists on-site.
To maintain comfort and service quality, the venue manages visitor numbers with an hourly entry system, limiting each steaming room to 4-5 people. It is highly recommended to book in advance via their official LINE account to avoid being turned away.
To provide a more comfortable and relaxed space for women, the venue designates every Wednesday as "Lady's Day." In terms of pricing and operating model, Light Stone Energy Steam House aims to offer long-term wellness without burden, adopting an affordable pricing strategy. Their goal is to make regular steaming and massage therapy accessible as part of customers' daily wellness routines.

Review#Accessible stress relief just 2 minutes from the MRT exit
My experience this time was a 40-minute Taipei Korean Sauna session, followed by an hour of acupressure massage. Upon entering Light Stone Energy Steam House, a staff member guided me to change into the special sauna attire. Throughout the process, the staff frequently reminded me of important details, such as staying hydrated and monitoring my body, and also demonstrated recommended postures for the sauna.
Once inside the sauna room, I specifically tried the "prone position" recommended by the venue. I could feel a gentle warmth penetrating deep into my abdomen, which is excellent for uterine warming and care before and after menstruation.
I particularly noticed that, unlike traditional saunas that can cause breathing difficulties and stinging skin due to surface heat, Light Stone Energy Steam House's tourmaline floor tiles release far-infrared rays that resonate with the body's heat. Not only was my breathing smooth throughout, but the most surprising thing was that after 40 minutes in the sauna, the sweat expelled felt like it came from deep within the body. It was distinctly different from the sticky feeling of post-exercise sweat, replaced instead by a refreshing sensation of pores taking a deep, full breath.
After the sauna, you can slowly cool down and rehydrate with hot herbal tea in the relaxation area, which is equipped with benches, sofas, and a dressing area. I could clearly feel my entire body's muscles relax from the sauna. And transitioning directly into a deep tissue massage in this state was the most memorable part of the entire experience!
Because my muscles were already in an extremely relaxed state, the masseur's pressing and kneading didn't have the usual "hard-on-hard" intense pain I typically experience during massages. Instead, they could easily follow the muscle fibers, deeply releasing long-accumulated stiffness, achieving an amplified soothing effect.
Overall, I really enjoyed the pressure-free relaxation experience at Light Stone Energy Steam House. Its gentle, non-irritating sweating mechanism is suitable for those with high work stress needing relaxation, slow metabolism, cold hands and feet, or those looking to improve skin conditions. Light Stone Energy Steam House's exclusive "Ladies' Day" every Wednesday is also a stress-relief sanctuary tailored for women, offering a complete sense of warmth and security.
Lele Hanjeungmak樂樂汗蒸幕
樂樂汗蒸幕 About the Venue
IntroductionMushe Xiangqi Hanjeungmak offers a Korean-style steaming experience that utilizes natural minerals and high concentrations of negative ions. Its steam rooms primarily feature natural jade and bian stone, which, when heated, release far-infrared rays and negative ions. The walls are lined with Pakistani rock salt and germanium stone, providing guests with a deep sweating experience while mitigating the stuffiness often associated with traditional high-temperature environments.
This Taipei Korean Saunas venue has two branches in Taipei, conveniently located near Yongchun MRT Station and Taipei 101. The facilities at the two branches differ: the Yongchun branch offers both jade and bian stone steam rooms, while the 101 branch focuses mainly on bian stone steam rooms. Guests can choose the location that best suits their needs.
In addition to steaming services, the venue also provides foot steaming and moxibustion treatments. The foot steaming service is based on the Yao ethnic group's medicinal bath concept, with various formulas available for those who prefer localized treatment or cannot undergo full-body steaming. Moxibustion involves applying hot packs made from a blend of Chinese medicinal herbs to specific areas of the body.
For pricing, the venue offers single-visit experiences and various package deals, allowing guests to choose according to their usage frequency. Services are by appointment only and can be booked via the official LINE, Facebook, or Instagram pages, where guests can also inquire about service details. The venue provides personalized service recommendations based on each guest's physical condition.

Review#Herbal aromas for a relaxing steaming experience
Unlike the oppressive humidity of a typical sauna, Lele Hanjeungmak offers a gentle, calming dialogue with your body. On the day Avocado visited, the winter sun streamed in, illuminating the clean wooden decor. There was no hint of commercialism in the air, just a subtle herbal fragrance and a warm, attentive explanation that instantly put her at ease.
The experience began with a foot steam. As warm vapor slowly rose from her feet, gently awakening her peripheral circulation, Avocado, who tends to be cold and have icy hands and feet, found the sustained warmth particularly comforting.
Next, she entered the main steaming room. The room featured walls and floors of different materials and provided small items like mugwort sticks, pillows, and towels, along with a generous pitcher of water to ensure hydration throughout the experience. Lying side-by-side on the warm jade floor, they felt the heat slowly penetrate their backs, expelling dampness and fatigue from their bodies.
What truly stood out was the excellent ventilation; the sweat was fine and non-sticky. Even after 40 minutes, there was no feeling of stuffiness or dizziness. Instead, they could chat comfortably as time slipped away. Afterward, a simple wipe-down was all that was needed, as this steaming process produces "good sweat," leaving the skin feeling smooth and radiant.
The final hot moxibustion was the perfect ritual to conclude this relaxing Taipei Korean Saunas journey. As the warm herbal pack enveloped her tense shoulders and neck, accumulated aches seemed to gently melt away. With an eye mask on, her mind and body completely settled, almost drifting into sleep. She left feeling light and with a gently soothed spirit, deeply appreciating the founder's tender commitment to "taking good care of one's body."

沐舍香憩汗蒸館 About the Venue

The Taipei Korean Saunas here offer two types of rooms: a wellness room and a higher-temperature "sweat-burst" room. If you prefer the sweat-burst room, please mention it when booking your reservation. Each room accommodates three people comfortably, and while the space is cozy, it's fully equipped—even offering a chessboard for those who want to play a game with friends during their session.
These saunas create a relaxing atmosphere with soft background music and essential oils. You'll receive a hair tie and a mask holder, and the shower rooms are thoughtfully stocked with not just shower gel, but also makeup remover and even skincare products, ensuring every detail is covered.

Xire Health Steaming喜熱養生汗蒸幕
喜熱養生汗蒸幕 About the Venue
IntroductionXire Health Steaming has two branches, one in Luzhou and one in Sanchong.
This review covers the Sanchong branch, which is less than a 5-minute walk from Xianse Temple MRT Station. The venue has two floors: the first floor offers massage services, and the Taipei Korean Saunas are on the second floor. Note that during the pandemic, the Sanchong branch is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Xire Health Steaming is a small venue with simple decor. It features two or three small steaming rooms, each accommodating three people lying down. The floor has a stone texture, similar to a ceramic plate bath design, with three clearly defined beds.
Each bed is covered with a towel. Because the stone material conducts heat quickly, the temperature in these rooms is higher than in typical Taipei Korean Saunas. The uncovered floor can be quite hot, so you'll need to walk quickly. There is also a washroom and a water dispenser; you can bring your own water bottle or use the one provided by the venue.
