“Eternal Tribulation” is a fully mechanism-based escape room game with no padlocks, featuring exquisite scenery that begins the moment you step through the Chinese-style gate into the garden.

Myling and her companions took some time to warm up their brains, observing everything around them. It's worth noting that even though this is a smaller Taipei Escape Rooms theme designed for two players, there are many spaces to climb and move through. Plus, ancient props like slingshots, chess manuals, bamboo flutes, and compasses are cleverly integrated as key puzzle-solving elements. If you're not careful and your curiosity gets the better of you, just playing with these beautiful props can eat up a lot of time!

We finally made it into the alchemy lab, and with the clues from the game master, we poured over the poems on the wall, cross-referencing them with traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions and I Ching hexagrams. It was a real brain-burner!

Unfortunately, we didn't manage to escape in time, and the mission was a failure!

Even if you fail the challenge, it's okay; the Funlock assistant will still dutifully explain the entire story from beginning to end.

After hearing the assistant explain the story and reveal the solutions, Myling and her companions chattered away in the lounge, savoring the experience. With 60% lingering enjoyment and 40% regret, we decided to add another game on the spot! This time, we opted for the 2-star difficulty, guaranteed to have beautiful scenery: Inari's Song.
