The standard monthly package includes one class per day, priced at NT$6,000 for non-members and NT$5,000 for members. The unlimited package allows you to attend as many classes as you like within a month, at NT$7,500 for non-members and NT$6,500 for members.

Private coaching is available in packages of 1 session, 5 sessions over 1 month, 10 sessions over 2 months, or 30 sessions over 4 months. Members enjoy a discounted rate, with each session costing only $1,350-$1,700. Students enrolled in private coaching also receive complimentary use of One boxing gloves, which are professional-grade gloves used in international competitions.

The annual membership fee is NT$1,500. After joining, members receive complimentary use of boxing gloves and protective gear for every group class, a 5% discount on in-venue merchandise, one free self-training session per month, and an additional 5% discount on class purchases during their birthday month.

The class began with the instructor’s self-introduction, followed by a warm-up. From basic stretches and leg raises to dynamic running and squats, the warm-up alone had Itata breaking a sweat.

The coach even joked around while wrapping my hands, helping me get it done quickly.

Then, the Kaohsiung Muay Thai training officially began. We learned the basic stance, left punch, right punch, elbow strike, knee strike, and kick in sequence. The coach explained each movement in great detail, and once we had mastered them, we started practicing combination techniques.

During the two-on-one Kaohsiung Muay Thai session, the coach had Itata and her friend alternate between punching bag drills and pad work, ensuring no time was wasted. The training was exhausting, but with encouragement from the coach and her partner, they were able to push through the combat training.

After cooling down, the feeling of sweating it all out is incredibly satisfying. Every kick and punch feels like a release, helping to melt away stress.

I've taken group Muay Thai classes before, but the one-on-two coaching here is much more thorough. The instructor can dedicate more time to each student, meticulously correcting posture and repeating unfamiliar movements until they're mastered. The teaching pace is also flexibly adjusted to your skill level.

For Itata, who was new to Kaohsiung Muay Thai, having a coach guide the correct movements and posture was crucial. If you're just starting out with this sport, private coaching is highly recommended.
