Manyi Baby Parent-Child Fitness Center’s pool isn't a standard size; it's a raised, smaller pool, eliminating the risk of slipping and falling in. Plus, there aren't too many classes running at the same time, ensuring a calm environment for Baby Swimming in Hsinchu.

The smaller pool also means the venue can change the water frequently without a second thought, so even babies with sensitive skin don't have to worry! Chryssa believes that both the pool's size and its walk-in, tiered design are major reasons Manyi Baby has established itself so well in the Hsinchu baby swimming scene.

During this children's swimming experience, the rinse area was right next to the pool, with a retractable hose for easy cleaning. The instructor helped the children rinse off briefly before they entered the water.

The beginner class content was just right, and the coach was incredibly patient with the little ones. They also made excellent use of various shaped floats and other teaching aids to make the children's swimming class more fun and reduce any fear of the water. Unfortunately, the front desk wasn't very clear on class schedules and other details, requiring us to leave a phone number and wait for a callback. This area could use some improvement.

The sweltering heat of May melted away as Sandy and her husband stepped into Baby Spa with their ten-month-old. Gentle music and warm smiles greeted them, instantly easing the usual chaos of traveling with a baby and all their gear.

While their baby is usually quite active at home, new environments can sometimes trigger shyness or fussiness. Fortunately, the instructor was incredibly professional, starting with a soothing massage to help the baby relax. Then, a perfectly sized swim ring was gently placed, and just as tears threatened, a variety of toys appeared to capture her attention.

Sandy also noticed a thoughtful detail: the venue placed a small handkerchief under the swim ring to prevent chafing. Once in the water, the baby floated with the gentle waves, occasionally kicking her feet and playing with water toys, enjoying a Baby Swimming in Hsinchu experience unlike anything they could do at home.

To top it off, the venue playfully adorned the baby with a lamb-horn hat, ensuring the parents' phones were constantly snapping photos.

Chryssa believes that Yingwan Swimming School excels in communication with both parents and children, making it one of the top venues for Baby Swimming in Hsinchu.

Before class, instructors ask parents about the student's background and their comfort level with water. During the lesson, instructions are clear, allowing children to follow the teaching rhythm smoothly. Each movement gets ample practice, and instructors constantly check in with students about how they're feeling. The pool area is lively yet well-structured during class. After the lesson, instructors speak individually with parents to share their observations and outline plans for the next class. It's clear that the instructors have a strong grasp of each student's varying skill levels.

The only minor drawback is that the pool is in the basement, which can lead to significant echoes when multiple infant swimming classes are held simultaneously. Additionally, the facilities show some age.

However, the overall teaching flow is smooth, and parents can clearly observe the interaction between instructors and students from the second-floor lounge area. For Chryssa, not having to search for parking is also a significant bonus!

With around 50 children in the pool during each session, the class sizes are substantial but clearly divided by skill level. For trial classes, coaches have students sit on the edge, kick their feet, then enter the water in sequence.

Parents are not allowed into the teaching area but can observe from a distance through glass at the first-floor entrance or the third-floor lounge. Since the beginner class is farther from the entrance, Chryssa recommends going to the third floor for a better view.

However, the distance is still a bit far from anywhere you watch, making it hard to distinguish your child. You'll mostly see a group of children moving on the deck or in the pool, so if you're hoping to see your child's cute expressions while they swim, you might want to consider this.

After class, coaches provide updates on each child's learning progress and general development. So, even if you can't listen in poolside, you'll still be well-informed about your child's learning status.

The child was also very impressed with the coach after returning home. The coach was skilled at interacting with children, even using their tattoos to create a memorable link with their name. Not only did the child remember the name after just one class, but they also told Chryssa they wanted to go back again!

Ito Man Swimming School is a high-quality swimming venue with very new facilities, and Chryssa noted it had the most students she'd seen for Baby Swimming in Hsinchu.

The student-to-teacher ratio adjusts by level, with a lower ratio for beginner classes, allowing teachers to pay more attention to each student. Chryssa brought her child to experience a children's swimming class, which had about six students, led by a coach into the pool.

Before class, the coach led simple warm-up activities, then assessed the students' levels before entering the water. During the class, students occasionally practiced in pairs, but mostly took turns entering or exiting the pool in sequence.

At the end of class, the teacher gave simple instructions, and the overall lesson was orderly and safe. The downside was less communication with parents; neither the coach nor the reception staff proactively explained or checked in after class.

However, given its excellent hardware and convenient transportation, Chryssa recommends this venue for parents who prioritize the environment or want to confidently let their children try new things.
