FlyKids, a long-established brand in Taipei Kids' Gymnastics, offers classes for children from 1 year 10 months to over 12 years old. Its curriculum, designed by a team of national-level coaches, distills the essence of gymnastics into core training areas like floor exercises, uneven bars, trampolines, balance beams, and vaulting. The program is divided into six levels, progressively enhancing children's holistic physical and mental development.

1-3 Years Old: From Crawling to First Steps — Parent-Child Gymnastics Walks With You

Children aged 1 year 10 months to 3 years old require parental accompaniment. These classes focus on parent-child interaction, using circuit training and movement skill practice to build muscle endurance and sensory integration during crawling, while also enhancing the fun and intimacy of time spent together.

Gymnastics for ages 3-6! Four key areas + promotion system, explained.

Taipei Kids' Gymnastics for ages 3 to 6 focuses on foundational skills, with children divided into three classes based on age and ability. Training includes floor exercises, uneven bars, trampoline, and balance beam. Each discipline has a specific goal for the end of the semester. At the end of the term, coaches comprehensively assess a child's physical fitness, motor skills, and attendance to determine if they are ready to advance to the next level.

What to learn after age 6? From physical skills to mental abilities, a complete upgrade

After turning six and passing a coach's assessment, children can advance to more challenging Taipei Kids' Gymnastics classes. In addition to the training mentioned above, these classes introduce the higher-difficulty vaulting box. Beyond running, jumping, and supporting, these exercises boost muscle strength, endurance, explosiveness, and coordination, while also demanding seamless, continuous body movements. Children must plan their actions mentally before executing them, which fosters courage and planning skills.

FlyKids Experience Review

FlyKids Experience Review

My five-year-old son and four-year-old daughter, due to their age difference and prior athletic experience, attended separate Taipei Kids' Gymnastics classes at FlyKids: Level 2 for my son and Level 3 for my daughter. My daughter was a bit shy at first, but under the coach's gentle guidance, she soon started smiling. My son, as usual, was full of energy, and the coach successfully challenged him with increased difficulty. At the end of the class, both kids were delighted to receive balloon gifts.

My favorite part is tumbling! It's challenging yet safe, and you grow with every encouragement.

After the initial warm-up in Taipei Kids' Gymnastics, coaches begin with simple floor exercises like crawling and jumping to enhance hand-eye coordination and agility. Once all the children are comfortable, the difficulty gradually increases.

My favorite part is tumbling! It's challenging yet safe, and you grow with every encouragement.

Rolling is my younger brother's favorite activity! The coach provides full neck support during his preparatory movements and ensures he completes each step precisely before rolling forward, significantly reducing the risk of injury. This makes him feel secure and boosts his confidence.

Hang tough and stand tall! Pull-up training improves posture and strengthens coordination

The horizontal bar helps improve limb coordination and correct hunchbacks. My younger brother has excellent stamina, so the coach had him practice this exercise multiple times. While waiting for his turn, he also got to know other classmates. Kids will be kids, and they naturally started laughing and playing around, but the coach quickly refocused their attention. Even with moves that looked exhausting, my brother was all smiles, clearly having a blast.

One-on-one supervision throughout the entire session builds both balance and trust.

Before crossing the balance beam, there's a small jumping exercise. Two coaches supervise, one on each side, ensuring that when a child crosses the beam, one coach can focus entirely on them without distraction, while the other side's practice remains safe. The balanced student-to-coach ratio means no child can slip past the coaches' watchful eyes, making it a moment that tests both the children's and the coaches' concentration.

From Fear to Favorite! Where Kids Find Their Courage

At FlyKids, the coaches demonstrate and explain each new Taipei Kids' Gymnastics activity or difficulty upgrade, ensuring every child understands before beginning individual instruction.

From Fear to Favorite! Where Kids Find Their Courage

My younger sister was initially a bit scared, but with the coach's persistent encouragement, she bravely jumped and overcame her fear, making it her favorite activity. Throughout the process, the coach would hold the children's hands as needed, helping them maintain balance in the air to train ankle stability and build muscle endurance.
