The slide has soft padding at the bottom and is made of a flexible, soft material, making it suitable for younger children.

The best part, according to our mystery shopper, Xinya, is the kind and attentive play assistants who patiently engage with the children, organizing games like ring toss. There are also scheduled disinfection times when staff restore the area, ensuring a safe play environment for kids.

Another commendable aspect is the restaurant's fast food service. When you're playing upstairs, staff thoughtfully notify you when your meal is ready. The receipts clearly record play and disinfection times, which is a very thoughtful touch.

However, the food portions are not large, and the flavors are not particularly memorable. This venue primarily focuses on its play environment, making this Taipei Family-Friendly Venue highly recommended for parents who want some free time to enjoy a meal and chat with friends and family without worry.

Farmer's Table has ample staff, and because we had a reservation, a high chair and water cup were thoughtfully prepared upon our arrival. The food was decent and generally healthy.

The play area is mainly a pretend kitchen, and what surprised Xinya was that Farmer's Table provides wooden toys instead of plastic ones. These are beautifully made and more durable, suitable for older children to play freely.

The parent-child restroom is very spacious, and even the sinks have unique designs that blend with the venue's decor. A water dispenser is also available in the plaza, which is very convenient—it's truly a parent-friendly venue designed for families!

Farmer's Table features a rustic industrial decor style, with every detail worth appreciating. The lighting is bright, the space is beautiful, and the tables are widely spaced, ensuring privacy.

Xinya believes this is the best aspect, making it ideal for parents with children to chat and gather with friends. However, it gets crowded on weekends, and waiting for food takes about 30 minutes. If you're worried about your children getting hungry, you might want to have a small snack before heading out.

My son, Xinya, loves living creatures and insects, especially cool beetles, so I brought him to this Taipei Family-Friendly Venue.

Beetle Secret Parent-Child Restaurant is Taiwan's only beetle-themed parent-child venue, featuring various live beetles, beetle-themed pillows, books, and even an insect classroom or weekend-only "Beetle Sister" storytelling sessions. It was amusing to watch my son and the other children engrossed in observing the beetles.

In addition to live beetles and a "play sister" who explains beetle ecology, Beetle Secret Parent-Child Restaurant also has several play facilities. The overall decor mimics the natural habitat of beetle larvae, creating a highly realistic environment that my son thoroughly enjoyed.

Regarding the food, Beetle Secret Parent-Child Restaurant's menu clearly lists ingredient sources, using Australian beef and Taiwanese pork, chicken, and shrimp, ensuring peace of mind for guests. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes in generous portions. A standout feature is the beetle-shaped waffle, especially the ice cream waffle, which immediately captivated my son upon arrival. He ate with unusual efficiency, making mealtime very easy for me.

A reminder for everyone: Beetle Secret Parent-Child Restaurant requires a deposit. Cancellations within six days may incur a partial or full deposit charge. Free cancellations are only permitted for reasons such as confirmed illness, sickness, or natural disasters. However, children's schedules can be unpredictable, so if your timing isn't certain, you can try waiting for a table on-site!

Taoqi Time Parent-Child Restaurant immediately draws you in with its bright and inviting atmosphere. Neini found the venue's ambiance very warm and relaxing, creating a comfortable feeling. The play area is well-equipped with many sound-activated toys, keeping the children thoroughly entertained.

The seating area offers a direct view of the entire play zone, allowing children to play happily while adults can relax and enjoy their meals with peace of mind. The staff are friendly and attentive, always anticipating customer needs, making everyone feel right at home.

The menu offers a rich variety of options, with delicious Italian dishes and delightful afternoon tea. Neini particularly appreciated the thoughtful option to upgrade a main course into a family-sharing meal for a small additional charge, which is perfect for children who don't eat much and don't need their own full portion. Overall, the environment and food are excellent, but be aware there's a 2.5-hour dining limit!

Xiangyuan Café offers a refined and diverse menu, with set meals featuring choices like roasted salmon, steamed and baked grouper, or braised and roasted chicken breast. It's a Taipei family-friendly venue that truly emphasizes gourmet dining. The only drawback, according to our mystery shopper, is that the expansive outdoor play area is limited to just a slide, lacking a wider variety of play facilities.

The venue's dedicated parking lot is very convenient, making it easy to park and eliminating the hassle of searching for a spot. You can arrive at the restaurant and enjoy your meal without a long walk. Spending NT$500 grants two hours of parking validation, while NT$1,000 provides three hours, making it easy to dine and then head to Bihu Lake for recreation and to enjoy the scenic views.

The entire family-friendly venue is elephant-themed, featuring cute elephant-shaped waffles, elephant decorations, and elephant art installations. With a purchase of NT$1,000 or more, you can rent an elephant stroller by presenting your receipt and leaving a deposit, allowing you to take your children for a tour around Bihu Lake. This is a highly recommended Taipei family-friendly venue for both its food and its beautiful surroundings.

Ma Ni Jiang Parent-Child Restaurant features a whimsical design and offers a diverse menu of delicious, thoughtfully plated dishes. Even the children's cutlery and high chairs are specially crafted from wood!

Nini's favorite part is the massive play area. Its forest-themed adventure vibe always keeps kids entertained, making them reluctant to leave. However, it's best suited for children aged two and up.

This venue operates by reservation and also offers private event bookings. Nini believes it's an excellent choice among Taipei Family-Friendly Venues for a first birthday celebration or a birthday party.

While the prices are slightly higher than other Taipei Family-Friendly Venues, Nini feels the facilities and environment are worth it. The only minor drawback is that with many children, the dining experience can be a bit noisy, and the soundproofing in the nursing room is somewhat weak. However, the nursing room itself is fully equipped, and the interior's flow is engaging, with a mysterious, cave-like design that invites exploration and reveals surprises around every corner.
