This time, Hermione chose Xuhai Hot Spring Resort's Tang Er Hall. Operated by the township office, this venue is new and comfortable, with excellent overall facilities. The private hot spring rooms are designed with a special focus on privacy and scenic views, allowing guests to fully relax in a spacious setting and enjoy a pure hot spring experience.

Each private hot spring room includes an independent bathroom and thoughtful amenities, plus complimentary coffee and cookies for added comfort. Best of all, the towels provided in the room can be taken home for free after use, ensuring everyone uses fresh, perfectly hygienic towels.

Additionally, every private hot spring room features large floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to soak while admiring the expansive lawns and distant mountain views outside. Immersed in nature's embrace, it feels like a secluded paradise. The rooms are also spacious, bright, and highly private, perfect for small families, couples, and friends to enjoy a pleasant time together.

This Pingtung Hot Springs venue also incorporates local Paiwan cultural elements, with tribal handicrafts and souvenirs displayed in the reception lobby, allowing guests to experience the hot springs while appreciating the charm of indigenous culture. Its spring source is one of Taiwan's four famous hot springs, alongside Beitou, Caoshan, and Guanziling, boasting deep cultural roots.

The natural alkaline sodium bicarbonate spring water here is known as the "Divine Spring for Beautiful Skin" due to its mild quality. The water temperature consistently stays between 50°C and 60°C, rich in minerals like iron and barium. Upon contact with air, these minerals form rare "hot spring flowers," said to help soften the skin.

The entire venue, from its exterior to its interior furnishings, perfectly preserves the elegant style of the Showa era. Many of the spaces are crafted from cypress wood and marble, and its history as the honeymoon retreat for Japan's Prince Nobuhito and Princess Kikuko Takamatsu lends a nostalgic atmosphere to every corner.

Sichongxi Seisen Japanese Hot Spring Inn offers a variety of private hot spring rooms, and this time, our mystery shopper chose the NT$1,200 "Exquisite Room."

The room is fully equipped with a bathroom, toiletries, and conditioner. Each room is spacious, and the hot spring tub is a good size, very clean, and comfortable. On weekends, the hot spring room can be used for 60 minutes, while on weekdays, it's 90 minutes. The venue doesn't rush you, allowing you to fully enjoy the hot spring experience.

The inn's environment is well-maintained, with a spacious waiting area and parking lot, making it convenient whether you drive or wait on-site. Additionally, there are public water dispensers and vending machines for drinks, thoughtfully meeting customer needs.

The inn also perfectly preserves its Showa-era architectural style and nostalgic atmosphere. From the exterior to the interior decor, every detail exudes a rich sense of history, instantly transporting you to a quaint and elegant Japanese era.

This Pingtung Hot Springs venue is very close to the shopping street and the hot spring park, making it an excellent place to enjoy hot springs, savor history, and relax your mind.
