This time, we took on the "Hug Me" couple's cake.

The entire process starts with making the cake base, then baking cookies, whipping cream, and finally assembling and decorating the cake. While there are quite a few steps, the instructional videos on the tablet are very clear, demonstrating almost every detail. Even for those with no baking experience, it's not too difficult if you just follow along with the screen.

I initially thought DIY cake decorating would be a chaotic challenge. But once I actually started, my focus gradually narrowed to the task at hand.

Mixing batter, smoothing frosting, decorating with a piping bag—each step demanded concentration. At one point, I even entered a "flow state," as if the outside world had faded away. All that remained was the batter and frosting in my hands.

The entire process took nearly four hours.

When the cake was finally complete, seeing the finished product I'd made with my own hands transformed all the fatigue into a deep sense of accomplishment. Rather than buying a ready-made cake, completing a birthday cake yourself makes it far more memorable.

The overall experience was very smooth, but there are a few small areas for improvement. For example, joining a LINE group during check-in slightly interrupted the initial flow of the experience.

Additionally, during peak hours, the common areas can feel a bit crowded. However, the overall process remains clear and very friendly for first-time bakers.
