Wu Pao-chun Himself, located on the third floor of Avenue East at SKM Park, is a Kaohsiung DIY cake studio that combines baking experiences with dessert creation. It's easily accessible on foot from Caoya MRT Station, or if you drive or ride, the mall offers parking with validation for in-store purchases.

Stepping into the studio, you're immediately greeted by the subtle aroma of baking. The rhythmic whir of whisks, the warmth from the ovens, and the sight of everyone intently crafting their desserts fill the space with the energy of handmade creation.

The classroom is divided into several functional areas: a mixing station, a baking station, a prep station, and a washing station. The layout is clear and intuitive, so even with over twenty students in a single session, it never feels chaotic.

Each workstation is equipped with a tablet, displaying video instructions and step-by-step guidance simultaneously. This allows students to work at their own pace, rather than having to keep up with the entire class. If you encounter any difficulties during the process, staff are always on hand to provide assistance. This setup is particularly beginner-friendly.

This time, we took on the "Hug Me" couple's cake.

The entire process starts with making the cake base, then baking cookies, whipping cream, and finally assembling and decorating the cake. While there are quite a few steps, the instructional videos on the tablet are very clear, demonstrating almost every detail. Even for those with no baking experience, it's not too difficult if you just follow along with the screen.
