The original 黑角設計 studio is located on Banqiao's "Cultural and Creative Street." Though small, the studio exudes a warm and professional atmosphere. Upon entering, you'll see a wooden instruction table, set up to host only one group of guests at a time.

During the class, you can relax and enjoy drinks prepared by the studio while following the instructor's guidance to use various tools for cutting, shaping, and carving, creating your ring step by step. A phone stand and power outlet are provided next to the instruction table, allowing you to record time-lapse videos with your own phone. A thoughtful assistant will also help capture the entire process with a DSLR camera.

Compared to other metalworking studios in Taipei, 黑角設計 uses a process where you first sculpt the design in wax, then use lost-wax casting to transform it into your desired metal. While you can't take your finished wax ring home immediately, this method has a lower barrier to entry for beginners. Wax carving also offers greater freedom, allowing you to imagine and create any design you wish, rather than choosing from a few fixed styles.

Ermao Yin, a metalworking studio in Banqiao, is just a 4-minute walk from Xinpu MRT Station. This studio is renowned for its custom services, especially for its unique illustrated engravings on rings, bracelets, and other jewelry, which become the soul of each piece.

The metalworking courses offer a rich variety of items, including rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Advanced courses are also available for those who wish to learn more professional techniques. Classes are small-group and support single-person reservations, offering high flexibility and freedom, making it easy for even metalworking beginners to get started.

From custom wedding rings to personalized metalwork pieces, the owner and instructors patiently guide students through the creative process, helping them transform their ideas into unique designs. Whether it's a memento for a special occasion or a personal symbol, the illustrated engravings add emotion and meaning to each piece of jewelry.

The studio features custom 90 cm metalworking tables with adjustable chairs, suitable for students of various heights and ages. Each table is also equipped with an independent task light for detailed work. The overall space combines wood tones with a black-and-white design and green accents, creating a warm yet professional creative atmosphere.

Taipei Culture Vouchers can now be used as cash, and when combined with the 5% off official website discount, you can create a personalized jewelry memory for under $500, making it incredibly affordable.

If you're tired of traditional puzzle-based escape rooms, 開溜製造所 will be a revelation. Located about a 5-minute walk from MRT Shilin Station Exit 1, this studio specializes in combining escape rooms with immersive theater, creating a "truly step into the story" live-action gaming experience.

The venue spans over 100 ping (approx. 3,600 sq ft) and features high-ceilinged, two-story sets. The space and flow are designed to cinematic standards, incorporating not just visual but also olfactory and gustatory sensory elements to significantly enhance the overall immersion. Currently, there are three themed games, each lasting about 2.5 hours, with two professional actors participating throughout every session—some even Golden Bell Award-winning talents—ensuring natural and seamless interaction.

The debut theme, "卦" (Hexagram), offers a subtly spooky Taiwanese horror experience with a supernatural atmosphere but without relying on jump scares. Players interact with actors in a mountain villa setting, collecting clues and gradually piecing together the truth. The trending new release, "黃衣小飛俠 惡念" (The Yellow-Clad Peter Pan: Malice), is adapted from a Taiwanese mountaineering urban legend, almost perfectly recreating Paiyun Lodge, creating an incredibly oppressive and atmospheric experience.

Most sessions recommend teams of 6–8 people. The story's prelude begins right from the official website booking, with thorough detail and setup. This Taipei immersive escape room experience truly excels in its narrative, performances, and staging.
