The Ghost Bride: Spoiler-Free Review

Tessa and three friends, all of whom usually avoid horror movies, decided to challenge themselves with a horror-themed Taipei Escape Room, diving into the secrets of Bendian Studio’s "Ghost Bride" experience!

The group was tasked by a priest to investigate a house with a long history of disappearances, seeking the reason behind the frequent vanishing of young men and completing an exorcism. Navigating in the dark with only an oil lamp, accompanied by suspenseful and terrifying music, significantly slowed their search for clues. Fortunately, they had three opportunities for "angel" hints, which provided crucial boosts at critical moments, allowing them to find the next clue and progress.

Beyond the dim lighting and perfectly eerie soundtrack, the Taipei Escape Rooms experience "Ghost Bride" stands out for its maze-like spatial design.

The frequent yet perfectly timed scene changes are "Ghost Bride"'s most unique large-scale mechanism, prompting constant gasps of amazement and players repeatedly wondering, "How did I get here?" It truly tests a player's spatial awareness. Tessa highly recommends this escape room to players with excellent sense of direction and memory! Even better, "Ghost Bride" is available not only at the new Nanjing venue in Taipei but also at Bendian Studio's Taichung venue.

If you're a player who's a bit on the timid side, don't worry—Tessa and her friends bravely tested the "Ghost Bride" experience for you, trembling the whole way. We can confirm that the psychological fear is the most intense part!

Just remember your position and carefully observe the scene's layout, and you'll significantly reduce the need to search for clues in the dark or retrace your steps.

It's worth noting that "Ghost Bride" features not only puzzles that must be solved in an enclosed space, but also a critical final choice: the offering you give the priest. Choose incorrectly, and you'll be trapped in the cabin forever, spending eternity with the ghost bride.

While our group of four didn't manage to escape within the 60-minute time limit, we did choose the correct offering, successfully appeasing the ghost bride's lingering resentment.
