About Heyhey Dive

Heyhey Dive, originally a Taipei Freediving venue, now offers AIDA-certified Taipei Freediving courses in Taipei, Taichung, and Xiaoliuqiu, making it incredibly convenient for students across northern, central, and southern Taiwan. Heyhey Dive also boasts a dedicated training pool at its Xiaoliuqiu flagship venue, providing a comfortable teaching space for its own instructors and available for rent by external instructors.
✦Brand and Teaching Philosophy
The name "Heyhey Dive" has a charming origin: the instructors, known for their healthy, sun-kissed skin, used to say, "We're all dark-skinned" (我們都黑黑的). As their popularity grew, they decided to simplify the name. A flash of inspiration led them to directly translate "dark-skinned" into English as "Heyhey," and thus, Heyhey Dive was born.

Heyhey Dive Class Review

The Taipei Freediving course follows the AIDA system. UNN's AIDA2 experience included a total of six classes: two theory sessions and four practical sessions in confined and open water. Classes are kept small, with a maximum of four students.
✦Academic Courses
The classroom sessions for Taipei Freediving are held at the Heyhey Dive Taipei studio, nestled at the foot of Yangmingshan. It’s a tranquil, pleasant spot in a quiet alley, with a hillside behind and a riverside in front — a suburban oasis within the city.
There's a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away, next to Soochow University. If you're coming with friends to learn freediving and want to take a stroll, Shilin MRT Station is about a 20-minute walk, and you can even pop over to the night market afterward. For those driving, there's a row of public parking spaces right outside the door. All in all, transportation options are quite convenient!

Heyhey Dive Post-Course System Introduction

If you're looking to get your Taipei Freediving certification, practice is just as important as taking classes. Even if you're learning solo, like UNN, you don't have to worry about being lonely or finding a place to practice. Heyhey Dive offers at least two group classes per week, and you only need to purchase an admission ticket—no extra coaching fees! Not only do you get a great venue for practice with instructors on hand for guidance and safety, but you can also make new friends who share your interest.
✦One year of free makeup lessons is included.
Heyhey Dive also offers a free retest within one year, which is a crucial "after-sales service" since many of UNN's friends didn't pass their Taipei Freediving certification on the first try. With diligent practice and mastering the art of relaxation, you'll definitely earn your certificate within a year.
